Just when I thought I had reached my red-white-and-blue limit, my spirit lady whispered, "Go big or go home, Shug." So Naturally, I did what any festive soul with a glue gun and a soft spot for sparkle would do. I DID MORE!
I Think Uncle Sam himself would feel right at home. I found these adorable cupcakes at Hobby Lobby and they were screaming my name....Bonus: THEY LIGHT UP!! I also found this cute little camper that lights up...it was a must have or perhaps one of those I want things.
Then, I stepped outside to the pool area and said....Why Not? I bedazzled the plants around the pool just a bit. Red, white and Blue twirly twirls....and some sparkly 4th of July sticks. Would you believe that in typing this, I just now remembered my red-white-and-blue gnomes....I will have to get them out tomorrow.
The family is coming over for the 4th of July and I want to make sure that they know that I love to decorate as well as Celebrate!!
All that is left to do on the 4th is...Light the grill, crank up the music and EAT.

Oh Shug, those cupcake decorations are absolutely adorable. Someone really came up with a good plan when they designed those. I am so sorry your "forever love" is unable to eat too much at this part of his life. God bless that man. And God bless his wife, too!

Those cupcakes are delightful. I thought they were real at first. And I love the camper. Looking forward to seeing your gnomes. They are just funny characters. Your pool looks cool with the pink light. Have fun decorating, Shug. I don't have a whole lot of decor for the 4th, but I do have a sweet little gnome and a patriotic Troll that I've had since I was a kid. Will never part with it haha.
