Plans for Tomorrow!!

Hi Y'all....It is now 5:45 and would you believe that I have just now opened my computer for the day.

I haven't checked emails in about 2 days, have not had time for FB and here I am in the late of the day, writing my post....

I'll confess, I still have on my PJ's from this morning....I know, this sounds horrible..BUT, it is how it is!

I suppose that I am guilty of being TOO busy in my own little world right now, and I have failed to even stop and focus on people or other things going on around me. Christmas shopping isn't even done!

I do know that I need to slow down and enjoy the season.  I need to enjoy spending more time with family and friends ...As a matter of fact, it is imperative that I do so....

SO.....TOMORROW.....I am going to treat myself to a morning at the hair salon....after that, I might just enjoy a good ol' Gingerbread Latte or a cup of Peppermint Mocha....

Hugs to each of you!!

Under My Feet.....

Have you ever experienced a thought from the enemy that sends your imagination into a whirlwind of upsetting visualizations ?  Kinda like there is a battleground that has your mind held captive?

I was awakened early in the night by thoughts that the enemy kept pouring into my mind....

I am refusing to let these strongholds take over my JOY!  I immediately started praying and in the middle of my prayers, a thought would creep into my mind and before I knew it, there I was, filled with fear all over again....

I was a bit confused....Was the Holy Spirit directing me to Pray?  OR, was it the enemy trying to steal my joy?  I must admit, there are some concerning thoughts going on in my mind right now.

Psalm 91

"(I) will dwell in the secret place of the most high.  (I) will abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  (I) will say of the Lord....He is my REFUGE!  He is my FORTRESS!  He is my GOD!  IN HIM WILL (I) TRUST!
Surely He hath delivered me from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.  HE has covered me with His feathers and under His wings (I) TRUST!  His Truth Is My Shield and Buckler!!  Therefore, (I) am not afraid of the terror by night!  (I) am not afraid of the pestilence that walketh in darkness!  (I) am not afraid of the destruction that wasteth at noon day!  A thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not come nigh me.  Only with mine eyes shall (I) behold and see the reward of the wicked!  Because (I) have made the Lord which is my refuge, even the most high my Habitation....No plague shall come nigh my dwelling!"

God has given His angels charge over (ME) and MY FAMILY....

I have God's word to stand on!!  Sometimes though, our battles can become very difficult to withstand....
This is when it becomes necessary for us to pull in and ask others to be in prayer with us.....To stand with us and to pray against those things that the enemy would have us believe....

I need my FAITH to arise in my heart, RIGHT NOW! The enemy has already been defeated and I must believe that the pathway that God has already opened is completely sealed off from satan!

Please be in prayer with me today....Pray for the confusion that the enemy is stirring in our minds to be replaced with "Praises and Glorifying God."

I need to march right, into the enemies camp and take back the victory that he is trying to steal from me....I must put satan "UNDER MY FEET."

Blessings to each of you.....

Little Children All Around.....

Thank you Lord for the Rain!!

The sound of the rain and the thunder is an
absolutely splendid sound this morning...

* * *

Good Morning beautiful friends...

I am sitting here, listening to the sound of the rain.  As you all know, I love to wake up and just write about what is on my mind at the moment...

These past few days, I have been thinking about the season of Christmas and I have been listening to the voices of little children all around...    Their Christmas list and wishes!!

This is the time of year when children's faces glow with excitement as they wait with great anticipation for the arrival of all their Christmas surprises....

Of course, my thoughts linger way beyond the packages, the gifts and the toys.....My thoughts go toward the "REAL" needs of
children.....

Love, Praise, Acceptance, Confidence, Compassion, Encouragement and Trust...

I believe that if a child lives with praise, then they learn to be appreciative of others.  If a child lives with acceptance, then they learn to accept........If a child feels loved, then they are able to
love themselves and others as well...

As parents and grandparents....we should DAILY encourage our children and help them recognize their talents...  We need to remind them that their talents are "GIFT'S" from God and they should Honor God by using their talents to the BEST of their Abilities....

The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.    Proverbs  20:7

Have yourself a "Merry" day...

What Are You Waiting For?

It's gonna be a "Superlicious" day.....I can feel it in my bones....

Actually....we have rain in the forcast, and this just makes my day!!

                                 ******

The title of my post is "What are you waiting for?"

My immediate response to the above scene was.....

What are you waiting for?

This is the scene that Trista, Tori, and I saw yesterday morning as we were driving down a country road, while heading to Tyler's basketball game.....

Buzzards.....all lined up on the fence post, just waiting for something good to eat!!

As we drove by, the buzzards just sat there....so, we immediately turned around, in hopes that we could capture a picture of these big vultures....

And we did....all six or seven were still sitting on their same fence post....the camera then flashed and away they flew...

Only two of them stayed around to make sure that they would be first to get their share of the meal...

The buzzards did make for a good photo shot, but what I loved most was the above picture....An old Barn!!  You gotta love old barns!

Hey Y'all....I sure hope you all have a fantastic Sunday...

Junk Galore...

Happy December 3rd Y'all....   Can you believe that it is already December?  2012 is just around the corner!!

Many of my readers have ask about "First Monday."

First Monday is located in Canton, Texas.  Canton is about 30 miles from our sweet little town of Chandler....

It is a GIGANTIC trade market, flee market, craft market, and antique market, all rolled into one.......No kidding, it covers about
160  acres of territory.  A huge portion of the vendors are in pavilions, and the rest are just scattered out on the grounds....

If you are looking for something, I can almost guarantee that you will find it at First Monday....

It is held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday just prior to the First Monday of each month....for example, this coming Monday will be the 5th, so this weekend is the trades Day weekend...

A portion of the grounds......

Just Outside a pavilion....

Old Coke Box....

this poinsettia caught my eye while I was
sitting on a bench.

Poinsettias and Pumpkins.....

My Kind of junk.....

It was a great day!  Shanda, Mylee and I enjoyed about 6 hours of walking all over this place, looking for all kinds of things...

My purchases???   Stocking stuff....a new bed for Bella (our dog).....a scarf.....and food.....

I did find.....a cabinet that will go great in my kitchen...Hope to get it soon!!

We had a great time and enjoyed seeing all the beautiful Christmas decorations...

Two days left for First Monday shopping, this month....Who knows, I just may have to make another trip this weekend....
