A Sunset Wedding

Last night felt like something straight out of a dream for this lovely couple.
Trey and Savannah

The wedding took place at the edge of the lake, just as the sun dipped low, painting the sky in soft pinks and golden light.  It was one of those sunsets you wish you could bottle up forever and it was made even more beautiful by the sight of the bride, glowing like a fairytale princess.

When the preacher spoke, he didn't shy away from the truth of their journey.  He reminded us of a terrible car wreck just two years ago that nearly took our grandson's life. Savannah was injured as well. Trey had a very difficult 6 month recovery period.
That long road of healing was one of pain, patience and hope.. Savannah was always by Trey's side.  Pastor Austin spoke of how this very difficult time wove this couple's hearts together in an even deeper way. Their love for one another had already been tested before they even said "I do."

Standing at the altar together, with the lake behind them, it felt as if heaven and earth had come together to bless their union.

No phone were allowed during the ceremony, so there are no snapshots of the sacred moments, but honestly, I think that made it even more meaningful. We all watched as we soaked in every detail from the beauty of the couple to the stunning view just in front of them.

I was able to grab a few photos at the reception, and I will share more once the professional photos are ready.

It truly was a night of beauty, love and sweet memories.  This wedding was also a testimony of resilience and a reminder that love can outlast even life's fiercest storms.

Congratulations to Trey and Savannah!!

Mom and Son dance!

Guest signed the couples Bible and highlighted a favorite Scripture verse.

Grooms cake....Everything on this cake was edible with the exception of the tiny sticks.  Both Trey and Savannah are huge Duck hunters, which made for the perfect grooms cake.  The duck was made out of rice crispy's.

My two granddaughters (Tori and Mylee) before the wedding..
Both were bridesmaids.

Siblings....Trey with his sister Mylee Jo...his brother, Carson and sister-in-law Emily...And, his new bride!!
