It was a very early morning today...
Sam had an eye appointment at 7:30 which meant we needed to leave the house by 6:40.
He got a new prescription for glasses and then we headed across the street to eat breakfast.
This time it was Corner Street Bakery. Eggs, bacon, toast and fruit for both of us.......and coffee for sure!
Since I'm running short on time today, I thought I would leave you with this little riddle...
There are two ducks in front of a duck, two ducks behind a duck and a duck in the middle.
How many ducks are there??

Great riddle and word search. Hope your day goes well and you accomplish all you need to do. That was sure an early eye appointment. Stay dry .
ReplyDeleteHave a Blessed Day

Your breakfast food looks amazing! Yummy! Glad that things went well for Sam at the eye doctor. We had rain today also...and yesterday...and for the next three days we are forecast to have rain. :) Hope you were able to accomplish much today.
ReplyDeleteI never would have guessed the duck answer! Hope you can both take a nice nap today. I've never seen a bakery that has this kind of food.
ReplyDeleteYikes, my comment made me anonymous again! My comment is the last one where I said I never would have guessed the duck riddle. Ginny
ReplyDeleteI have GOT to remember to sign my name!
ReplyDeleteYour breakfast looks delicious, Shug, and a nice place to go after Sam's appt. That's an early appt., but the early ones are so much better than the later ones. You have had a lot of rain this month! I've always loved those duckies; they have so many different delightful ones out there.
ReplyDeleteHave a good rest of the week, Shug.

Your breakfast looks good!
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here today too. Our flowers will be growing well!
I wouldn't have gotten that riddle right.
Your breakfast looks delicious! It is sunny and hot here in Montreal today. The forecast calls for rain maybe tomorrow. I am not too good at riddles. I do love word games but I don't do them online, I do crossword puzzles by Dell, PennyPress...in magazine form in the evening. This saves my screen time for blogging, searches and emails. Thank you so much for sharing. Your blog background is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love these word search puzzles, and that's sure a fun riddle. (Yep, I had to do a head slap, lol) We've an early-morning appointment Friday, so I'm hoping our "apres' doc" breakfast is half as good as yours looks!
ReplyDeleteI've never had an eye doctor that started appointments so early! I'm sure it was nice for Sam to get in and out quickly.
ReplyDeleteGreat riddle, thanks for the answer!
ReplyDeleteI am sending the riddle to my younger grandson. He will probably get it!
ReplyDeleteI hate early morning appointments...but that breakfast looks like a nice reward!
ReplyDeleteEarly appointments mean early starts but then the rest of the day is a gift!
ReplyDeleteThat breakfast looks really good. I like to schedule my appointments early but lately I can't seem to get up.
ReplyDeleteI failed miserably at solving the riddle...lol
I totally missed the duck riddle. LOL. Haven't tried the word search yet, but maybe later. Your breakfast looks really good. That was definitely an early eye appointment. I barely have my eyes OPEN at that hour! LOL. Hope you have a lovely day today.
ReplyDeleteI'll be the first to admit that I'm not a good riddle solver, Shug. Boy, that breakfast sure looks delicious. Hope you enjoyed every bite. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love eating breakfast out but with eggs still high here diners are charging a surcharge. And what’s breakfast without an egg? I prefer early appointments before noon. I hate waiting all day for an afternoon appointment. Wastes the whole day.
ReplyDeleteHaHa, good one. I would have guessed 5.
