Early Morning of Praise

This lovely Saturday morning has started out great.  I woke up early and everything is so still, wrapped in everything quiet. It's the kind of quiet that settles into your soul before the day begins to ask of your time.

Sam is still sleeping, and it is just me sitting here. No noise, no rush.....just peace! As I sit here with my coffee and all of the stillness around me....I praise God. He is so very good!

I love how there are times when the soft moments of life reminds me of His Greatness. I can simply whisper His name and feel the very breath of God surrounding me. This is the very best feeling in the world.

Here is to a beautiful morning of thankfulness and stillness before the world wakes up..

"Be still and know that I am God."  Psalm 46:10

Wherever this Saturday takes you, whether you are out running errands or just resting, I hope you find a pocket of peace, to pause and praise our Holy Father. His goodness is never too far.  Have a beautiful day and may we all whisper little thank you's throughout the day.

Busy day ahead and I am so grateful for this early morning time spent with the Lord.

  8. Indeed, His goodness is never far. Early mornings observed alone are some of my favorite times. To be still and absorb all the new day's blessings is such a gift.
Okay, I'm looking at the clock and imagining the joy you and Sam are experiencing right now at the wedding. L'chaim!

  14. I never thought I"d say this, but I'm starting to like the quiet, silent times, too, Shug. To be in silence at the very beginning of the day, while we are starting to breathe and welcome the day, is very special. The silence has grown on me and makes me think of that saying, "Be still, and know that I am God." He whispers and, when it is silent around us, we listen.
