Happy Friday Friends.
This is my Friday obsession! A Blooming Bike!
Flower Power on Wheels......
Have you ever seen something and then instantly thought.....
I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE?
This picture popped up on my FaceBook page and I immediately imagined myself peddling this bike down the street, leaving a trail of flower blooms behind me.
Of course....Who am I kidding? I most likely couldn't make it to the end of my driveway without being out of breath. Here's the way I see it though.......regular bikes are for exercise......
This..... 🌼Flower 🌷Power 🌼 on🌷 wheels 🌼.......
is good for having FUN and making me smile!
I can just see my friends waving at the "Queen of Bloom" as I peddle past them.
With my bike riding history, I might possibly wreck it. I don't have much luck riding bikes. A broken nose and a broken collar bone should be a great reminder for me to not want to go anywhere near a bike.....even if it is a cutie like this one.
Wishing you all a good Friday filled with laughter, sunshine and of course, flowers!
Shug..... 💛💜💚
The flowers are super cute! Wishing you a groovy weekend ahead. Here's to fun projects and good food too. And flowers. Saw my first yellow dandy when out walking yesterday. So pretty. I lovezzz it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Just the thought of it. ❤️
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest bike ever! I do think you need one, probably shouldn't ride it though - just park it outside your house!
ReplyDeleteOh my... be careful friend. ;-) I do love this idea. I might just do this.
ReplyDeleteThat blooming flower bike is so charming, Shug. I can see you having something like that at your house, in a garden or next to a tree. I used to go bike riding all the time at one time - I guess it was a phase I was into. They were mountain bikes, and were very popular at the time. There are so many wonderful and creative ideas out there, right? This one is so cute!

Love that Bloomin' bike. I got my first and only bike when I was 8 or 9. I loved it and rode it everywhere. Even to the store for my Mom. I had a great little wire basket on the handlebars. Those were the days when one could ride anywhere and no one was worried.
ReplyDeleteThis has brought back so many memories for me. Thanks, and have a great weekend.

Oh what a fun bike and I can see you riding it and waving to everyone along the way. Sorry you have had a bad history with bikes. My dearest and I rode bikes for miles and miles when we lived up North. The San Jouquin Valley is irragated by canals, and we would ride the canal banks for miles. We took spray bottles of vinegar/water because sometimes we would be chased by big dogs. Took our bikes to Yosomited and that was a fun ride. Reading Sue's comment reminded me of my childhood bike days. Stay off bikes and just pick the flowers...haha. Love you. Wanda
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, and now I want it!! I suppose it is something you cannot buy, and if you could it would cost a lot. You could fill it with your own flowers and change them out for the seasons. Pumpkins for the fall!
ReplyDeleteThis one has 3 wheels though so there should be no problem. You can ride to your hearts content spreading blooms and cheer to all around you
ReplyDeleteA nice alternative to bikes are those mobility scooters, which can easily be decorated with flowers.
ReplyDeleteUmmm did you notice it has NO pedals?? ha ha ha... it is pretty, but this might have to be walked, like with feet on ground pushing it.. then you might not crash it. I crashed my bike so many times learning, and fell down every time I tried to roller skate, so gave both those up an about age 10, although at 15 I did try roller skating again ONCE. seems I have issues with balance, and woo boy do I have it now in my ancient age
ReplyDeleteIf you crash it I need plants for the back yard. ha ha
You know what I thought of when I saw the picture? I could see you riding the bike throughout your neighborhood and gifting folks with your beautiful flowers. That's just something I could easily see you doing...and then I read about your previous endeavors with bikes. Maybe a Little Red Wagon would work? You are a blessing my friend!
ReplyDeleteI would just park it and make a beautiful landscaping display out of it!
ReplyDeleteI can see it now! I'm loving everyone's suggestions. Flower power, indeed!
ReplyDeleteCue Scott McKenzie: "If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair ...."
It's beautiful, but my first thought all those flowers would make the bike impossible to steer.
ReplyDeleteI’d say more decor than being a practical bike. It’s too top heavy and it’s an accident waiting to happen. I no longer can ride a bike due to my lumbar region and the ruptured discs I have. The back and forth motion is killer! I’d love it in my front yard though - so cute.
