Money Bouquet

Our Birthday girl wanted a "Money Tree" for her Birthday gift from her Pops and Shug.

In just a little over a month, Mylee will be leaving, with her School, for a Missions Trip.
She intends to use her Birthday Money for things needed as she prepares to travel.

It has been way to wet for me to go out and look for branches to make a tree, so I chose to make her a money Bouquet.  I found this rose bouquet at "Home Goods" and thought surely I can do something with this.

I put these unique flowers in a vase and filled the bottom half of the vase with coins.  I then finished filling up the vase with dollar bills.  I wrapped the flower stems with different  denominations of bills and I did the same thing in and around the middle of the roses.

It was a big HIT.

Her mom and dad had a similar idea for their gift.

Shan took a box of Kleenex and placed her money in between some of the Kleenex's. Mylee had to go through all of them to make sure she didn't leave any bills behind.
(No Kleenex's were damaged in this process....they all went back in the box)

She had a great day!!

Note * This picture was taken last Spring, before she let her hair go to it's natural color.

Wake up with a Smile and Go after Life!!

  13. Cute and original gift idea, and more useful than giving merchandise. Hope she's not traveling to Papua New Guinea, remember what happened to Joe Biden's uncle Bosie who he said was probably eaten by cannibals.
