Baby Boy

We are Great Grandparents Again!  This makes three!!!

We have a 9 year old great grandson, a 4 year old great granddaughter.  And now.......a day old great grandson.

William Ty was delivered at 9:35 P.M. on 07-09-2024.  He weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce.  He was 20 inches long.

He was born on his grandmother's Birthday....our oldest daughter (Trista) was born on July 9th.

We have a healthy baby boy, and his mom is doing well too.  Thank you all for your sweet prayers.

Becoming a great grandparent is a wonderful milestone!  I considerate it to be a testament to the longevity of our family and the strong bonds that we have formed with so much love.
We have a responsibility to not only share our wisdom and experiences of life, but we also have the responsibility of teaching them about living a good, Christian life and following Christ.

How awesome is this, to share the love of God with yet another generation?

It is also a special time to create new memories as this little one grows.  We will be able to watch him discover the world, learn new things, and develop his own little, unique personality.
I pray that Sam and I can be an example of stability for all of our kids, grandchildren and  great grandkids, and that we can enrich their lives with stories of the past and the valuable lessons we were taught.
I look forward to celebrating the milestones, big or small, that William will make, and I pray, that we will be a source of comfort, joy and inspiration for him.
If we can leave a legacy of love, wisdom and cherished memories to each of our Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, then I know there will be a lasting imprint on their hearts and lives, that they will treasure deeply.
A legacy is not just about material possessions, but about the values of life, the stories, and the experiences that define our family.  It is important for our kiddos to have a strong sense of identity and belonging.  I know that this enduring legacy will guide them through their lives, reminding them of the strength and love that is being passed down through the generations.

We are so very Blessed and my heart is filled with overwhelming Joy.
