Is it Winter yet? Last year at this time, we had SNOW and then came the big FREEZE!! I am definitely complaining and I do hope we never have a freeze like that again.......BUT, being that it is Winter, I would kinda like to have a few snowflakes falling.
The snow last year was really nice and so fun to not only look at, but to do a little playing outside.
With TEXAS weather, you never know what you're gonna get when it comes to the weather. Today, the sun is shining and the temps are suppose to reach into the 70's.
Around here, you can be ready for the pool one day and the very next day, you will find yourself pulling out the mittens, coats, and toboggan's.

The sound I am hearing right now is enough to drive a person crazy........BUT, I am so glad to have progress being made on my Kitchen. The noise I am hearing is a constant sawing sound. The electrician is having to cut out pieces of my Bead Board wall in order to add more wiring for the New Double ovens and gas range. I will be so happy when this is a finished project.
Of course...there is a delay in getting the ovens, so who knows....it may be March before the kitchen is finished.
What else? Hmmmm..... I desperately need to go in there and do a deep clean in my closet. Argh!! Seems like I need to do this on a regular basis. How do 2 people get things so out of order?? May just do a Closet purge while I'm at it...
Trey sees the Plastic surgeon this afternoon to find out if grafts are needed for his leg. Keeping our fingers crossed that he doesn't have to have this procedure done. Friday is a MRI and next week, the Back Doctor will let us know if surgery is going to be required on his back. Continued prayers please.

I am praying for Trey! Your new kitchen is so exciting! All the noise means that they are working on it, much better than silence. I sure hope you show us pictures when it is done. Are you doing before and after photos?
ReplyDeleteI would say that I'll share some of our snow, but we need every bit of it for spring moisture. It's also much colder than you would enjoy, I'm sure. Living in a house while renovation is going on, can be trying. The end result will be worth it all.
ReplyDeleteYour snow pictures from last year are so pretty. Your weather sounds like ours has been. We were in the high 70s all during Christmas. Seems like winter has finally arriced and we now have below average temperatures. Hope you get your new oven in soon. We want new countertops and I sure dread the mess involved.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having some fun at your house?! It's always good to get things done, but there are soooo many delays with everything. Last year be bought a new couch and it took 7 months to have it shipped :0/ Hopefully, you will get your new stove and oven way before that. The weather here has been crazy as well. I remember that deep freeze you guys had, that wasn't fun, all those broken pipes and so much snow! We had some snow around Christmas, but have had nothing since, we really need it so hopefully, it will snow soon. Plus, it has been so cold! The cake looks delicious, she must be a good friend! Trey will be in my prayers. It sounds like his recovery is coming right along. I pray that he will recover from his injuries with no further issues, and that the Lord will keep all of tucked safely in the palm of His hand, many hugs to you sweet friend. XOXO
