As we near Thanksgiving, may we realize that there are people all around us who are hungry. Not only are they hungry and in need of something to eat, but many are hungry for love and for a compassionate smile!
Random acts of kindness on our part can change the outlook of the season for not only the person we Bless, but in our own lives as well.
"Give and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."
Luke 6:38 kjv

So you grow the pecans? I cannot remember if you do or not. What a scene of them all laid out on the table, so many! So glad you finally got rain! Hoping you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Shug. I hope your grandson can be there.
ReplyDeleteThe sound of rain on the roof is one of the sweet sounds of nature.
ReplyDeleteI always find words for the soul here, Shug. Love seeing your pecans drying on the table!
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to get some rain. We need some too--maybe by midweek.
ReplyDeleteHope you are ready for Thanksgiving.
I have a great post up today that you may want to add to your
menu for future holidays.
Happy Sunday!!
