Buzzard on my lights.

This thing appeared out of no where and decided to land on our 10 foot pole out in the back yard.

A few weeks ago, Sam put this pole up for me so that I could hang Christmas Lights in the backyard.
I suppose this Buzzard found it to be a great resting spot!!

Is the weekend really over?  This one passed by...way too fast! I spent the day yesterday, attending a Pampered Chef party that Trista was hosting.  GREAT Party....she received over $300.00 in FREE kitchen stuff!!

Today....I attended Church and then it was home to watch Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel.   I so enjoy watching these movies!!

Sam was hunting this afternoon and I took advantage of my alone time ....what better thing to do, than to watch "A Royal Christmas!"

This will be a busy week....I have a lot of Cooking to do in order to get ready for Thanksgiving.  We are going to Ty and Trista's NEW, beautiful home, to eat....however, I will be bringing several dishes.

and of course...on Friday, the girls and I will do our "Black Friday" thing!

Pictures of Black Friday's Past!!

Are Y'all excited??  I am!!

  1. I love you and Sam in the header! Sam looks so happy to be with YOU. So many of my friends do not like Black Friday, the crowds and traffic. But I love it. To me, it is all exciting! Of course I never get up early enough to get any deals, the good ones are always gone. But I still think it is FUN!

  3. I've never seen a buzzard in real life. That is something about it landing on that post. They are odd looking birds.
Lovewatching those holiday Hallmark movies too.

  4. Bet that was quite a sight to see him on your pole. I have to check out "A Royal Christmas," haven't heard of it. Shopping day sounds like great fun!

  7. Hi Friend, Just stopping by to say Happy Thanksgiving to you. Even in places where Thanksgiving is not celebrated (or celebrated on the 4th Thursday in November like ours is) —it can be a time for each of us to take time to thank God for our blessings and also not to forget the “Giving” in the word, ThanksGIVING. We all have lots of blessings —but many times, we ignore the giving part….Not just on Thanksgiving Day, but all of the time, please take time to contact family/friends just to say HI… And remember that a big SMILE can lift someone’s day…. Little things like that can really HELP..

We don't do the Black Friday stuff ---But--I'm sure you and your daughters will have a great time and get lots of good buys!!!!! Have fun.

    God Bless…
    Happy Thanksgiving.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
