Let me share a few of the photos from Tyler's Last High School Game......
Trying to get rid of the nerve bug....before the game
scoping out the opponents....
Best "Shortstop" I've ever seen!!!
Batting.....
Seniors.....after the game.
Loved this picture.....Seniors walking back to dugout.
Hugging Mom......
Hugging dad....with mom crying in the background
Hugging Pops.....
I got a big hug too.....not only from Tyler, but from all of the Senior guys!!
After the game, I sent Tyler a message that read...
"Tyler, I remember your very first little ballgame when you were barely big enough to hold the bat...
I thought you were awesome then, and I cried tears of happiness. Tonight, I watched you play your very last game and you were {and still are} totally Awesome!!
You're a Superstar in my eyes.
And guess what? I cried again!
I love you so very much."
I shortly received a text from Tyler....
It read: "Awe Shug, if you go and look in your bathroom, you will see a picture that I drew for you when I was in the first grade. I said I love it when YOU take me to my ballgames. I said I love you so much. I love you, and I thank you for the support you have always given me.....heart, heart, heart."
These are the things that make being a grandmother so special.....
Shug....~
For those of you who have asked about Tori.....she is feeling much better! Still having to put drops in her ear and still wearing cotton in her ear. Thanks for all your prayers!!
You must have a wonderful relationship with your children and grandchildren. That is so good to see.
ReplyDeleteI, also, love the picture of the boys heading out with their arms around each other. And I really like the first picture where he is nervous. It kind of shows behind the scenes, and though nervous, he is so handsome!
ReplyDeleteThe photos and sweet messages are so sweet and emotionally stirring. I wish I was a part of your family, or had one like it. :)
