RICH COLORED PALETTE......
That's just me! I am a person that loves brightness and I love the bold rich colors.
When I wake up in the mornings, the very first thing that I do is to OPEN the blinds....I need the light! I need sunshine!
Of course....we all know that when it comes to EASTER, the Pastel Colors seem to be what we tend to see most.
I must admit, those pastels do make for some pretty good eating......Isn't this a beautiful cookie? However, it would, no doubt, taste the same if it were filled with
B O L D
COLORS
Yellow.....means Joy and Happiness.
It also represents the sun shining, on a clear Spring day....
Green....represents Hope and birth and
renewal....new leaves, new
grass, new life.
Pink....is like a fresh beginning. Health
and a new start.
Orange...is the color of dawn, or the
start of a new day....
Lavender.....means something special.
Blue....suggest sky and water....It brings
peace and harmony. It's the
clear blue sky and the freshness
of the rain which brings forth
new life....
In reading about colors, I realized that we all have our own preferences when it comes to the colors in our life....But how precious it is, knowing that God created them all, for us....HE made the colors of the rainbow that are so pretty in the sky....
He made the brightness for ME and for others who love such bold rich surroundings. He also made the pastels, for those who need only a touch of color in their lives....
Our God is more than wonderful....How marvelous are His creations...How brilliant is HIS canvass!!!!
Until Tomorrow...

What a beautiful post!
ReplyDeleteReds/pinks/purples and burgundy are the colours that suit me best. I love the sunshine but too much and too bright and I get a migraine hence all the piccies of me outdoors are wearing sunglasses.

What a fun and interesting post. I love color as well! and the sunshine in the day!
ReplyDeleteI tend to have a lot of shades of reds/burgandy/rose and greens/moss/jade and then pinches of other colors to add depth.
I am not sure why? It is just me, I guess!
Blessings,
Susie
Shug, the first thing I do when I get up is open the drapes, too! Our light bulbs are huge and I can't really see well in other people's homes, they are so dim! Your color facts and pictures are so cool today!!!!
ReplyDeletePraise God for colour.I too, love the bright colours but at times am also drawn to the pastels.I just love colour, all shades of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely colors - I love the colors of Easter too - and your photos. sandie
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Shug... I love colors also ---and my all-time favorite color is YELLOW (especially in spring/summer)....
ReplyDeleteI don't like the bold colors as much as you do --and am more of a pastel person I think....
BUT--it takes all kinds of colors to make up our lives... Neat, huh?
Hugs,
Betsy
What a beautiful post! God is amazing!! :) xo Heather
ReplyDeleteOh, I love color too! I think the only color I DON'T like is gray. It is a gloomy color to me. Now I like silver for cars or a light gray for an exterior house color, but not for inside or clothes. At least not on me. I see some folks that look wonderful in the color. I guess I'm just not a "winter" person or whatever season gray fits!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
What a lovely post. I love complimentary colors be they bold or pastel. In my mind anyway, they speak to harmony. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteGod surely was the originator of all color!! He, as usual, knows just what we need. And I need color!!
