Trust...A Big Word!

Trust......just how big is this word?

The word Trust means to put confidence in......assured reliance of character....belief....hope...dependence....no fear.

Just try saying it.....The word Trust is so very easy to say.
Is it really that easy to do?

I Trust God....My Heavenly Father....

To be able to say these words, I must Trust HIM with
every part of my life.......

Did you know that living in FEAR is not TRUST?

Have you ever been afraid to Pray for something or someone, because it seems that the more you pray, the worse the situation becomes?

This my friends is FEAR and not Trust!!!!

Did I just slap {Yours Truly} in the face? ..........  This is exactly what I catch myself doing sometimes....  The harder and deeper I pray, the more that the enemy {DEVIL} trys to steal my joy..........

It's kinda like......"Just don't think about the issue".....the situation will still be there, but at least the enemy will not be rearing it's ugly head.  We all have loved ones or people that we know that need the Lord.....We can not stop Praying for their salvation just because we FEAR what they may have to go through before they surrender to GOD.....

Through the POWER of God.....I have the authority to walk straight into the enemy's camp and take back what he has stolen from me...
The enemy is UNDER my feet!

The enemy can not steal my joy unless I allow it!

VICTORY comes when we put ALL our Trust in the Lord!!!

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord. Psalm 112: 7

Sweet Blessings......

  2. It's hard to trust - especially when we want to control! Thanks for the post, it makes me think.

  4. Shug, this is good. I taught a whole Sunday School class on fear, and it is a strange thing...surely feelings and not trust. Did you know that babies are born with only two fears? Fear of being dropped and fear of loud noises. Too bad it doesn't stay that way.

  5. Hi Shug, We do need to TRUST more. It's never easy... We second-guess our choices and decisions ---and sometimes wonder if we are truly doing what God wants us to do. We just need to TRUST God --and ourselves.

  7. I sooo badly can relate to what you said in the middle of this post !! I fear to pray for something or someone just because it seems the harder I pray the worst the situation becomes! So true! Trusting is a big word and trusting god is also kind of trusting in oneself.

  8. What a great reminder! I have been praying for my son for years. Not only are my prayers not answered, his situation seems to get worse all the time. In fact, we almost lost him Sunday night. I have been afraid sometimes to continue to pray, but after reading your post I know I need to go boldly before God and not fear. Thank you!

Busy Monday

I sure enjoyed reading all of your post last night.  I was busy most of the day, but when I did sit down last evening, I grabbed my computer...
