Game On...See What You Can Create

Welcome.....I've been springing into action this week!  Adding a little cheer to the outside of our home!   I want our guest to feel WELCOME before they even enter our home!

For several weeks now, I have been shopping for the perfect thing to boost up the outside of the front doors to our home...Trying to find something that was affordable was a huge challenge.

When I didn't find anything at First Monday, I knew it was time to take matters into my own hands...

A trip to Hobby Lobby was all I needed.....and here is what I created...

A few simple flowers...

A grapevine wreath...{you can do some amazing things with one of these}

I must admit that I'm pretty fond of the beautiful green Hydrangea's

Need a little "PINK"...add some delicate pink Begonia's...

Need a little "Sunshine?"..
Go ahead and add some bright yellow!

I added a few "Light and Air-E flowers"

Put together a little "Floral Fantasy".....

The results......an inexpensive WREATH...
But wait!....I have TWO front doors!?!?

WOW......I love the outcome!

let me stand back and take a look......

#1....... I need to fix the bow on door #1
#2........  I am going to have to re-do the wreath on door #2

All that is left to do is to add the raffia and a small ribbon up the side of the flowers on the left side...
Of course....I know I will arrange and rearrange until they match perfectly!

Dress to Impress????   No, just Home Sweet Home!

and....the best part ,
I did it myself  for Less dollars!

One thing that I love about the "grapevine" wreaths is that you can use the same wreath over and over again....When you're ready for a change, simply reuse and renew....!  Replace the old flowers with new ones.....SAVINGS?  You Bet!

This inexpensive shortcut makes it a cinch!!!

Shug Sez....

Game On....Get out there and see what you can create!!

  3. The welcome mat is certainly out at your front door.Trouble is with those beautiful wreaths I might want to just stand and enjoy them, instead of coming in. :)

  4. Absolutely fabulous, Shug... Love all of the spring colors... I used to do that exact same thing --but haven't done one in years and years... The door we have now has a big storm door outside of it. SO--it would be hard to decorate... (I know--excuses!!! ha)

    I do love yours..
    Hugs,

  7. Cute!!! Love it! I wish Seth would let me put wreaths on our front door, but after we found a snake comfortably curled up inside one, he has banned wreaths at our house! Gotta love country living. ;)
