Can't believe that this one pillow is spilling the beans!
The Truth has come out.......Not just our grandchildren, but All
Children are spoiled here at Shug and Pop's house....
This picture was taken at the Grandparent's day that I attended
for Trey....

An extra thought from Shug today:
One thing that I would love to see every child have this year for Christmas is A PEACEFUL HOME......
A place where they can feel warmth, a place where they can feel safety, and a place where they know without a shadow of a doubt, that they are loved!!
Children need HOMES, not just a four wall house. Our HOMES
should reflect LOVE! Love for one another, love for family and friends, and most importantly, LOVE FOR GOD!
It takes a conscious effort and a committed heart to leave the pressure's of the outside world.....OUTSIDE! Just as we get up every morning and prepare ourselves for the day, we too should prepare our children to step across the threshold into a place of PEACE when they arrive home from school.....
Take time to enjoy the beautiful smiles of your children. Ask them about their day, and always....ALWAYS be encouraging in your remarks...
It is OUR choice....we can offer a home that is full of love and full of peace.....
Shug Sez.....
Give your children this important gift today.....Give them a place of refuge from the world. Give them your love and teach them about the love of God!
This is so very true!!! My step son and his wife have been separated for over two years and they don't realize what they are doing to our 8 year old granddaughter by "living their life"... She thinks it's all her fault..This is a wonderful thing to want for Christmas...I hope your wish comes true...
ReplyDeleteI too hope your wish comes true. This is a
ReplyDeleterough world for everyone today--especially children. There are too many things going on, too many places to be etc.and a lot of people don't take time to enjoy their family.
Good Luck.
Melinda
This is so true. I am really struggling right now because I feel surrounded by so many selfish parents, even people who are very close to me. It saddens my heart to see their children pushed to the side.
