Trista, Shanda, and Mylee met us on Sunday at FM.....

My First purchase on Saturday...We have four grandsons playing ball and one granddaughter playing softball, I think I will have plenty of baseball games to go to this summer, so why not dress in style!  But wait....I can't wear this shirt everyday, can I?

My Sweetheart is so SWEET.....Look what he bought for me!  I love it!

Sam was a real trooper....He shopped all day Sat. and all day Sun. with me....Have I told you that I love this guy!!

Sam wasn't able to get the Double standing Wash tub that he really wanted.  He spotted it on Sat. and when he went back to get it on Sunday, someone had just purchased the thing about 10 min. before he got there......

We had an outstanding weekend and I am already looking forward to next month's "First Monday"

Jealousy.....Envy......   These are DISEASES....

           "GET  WELL  SOON"  

I don't think I have ever written a post based upon  Envy or Jealousy, but I strongly believe that there is much to be said in regards to these "Waste of Time" words..

These two words are very similar in the fact that they cause one to "Count another person's BLESSINGS, rather than to recognize their own!"

"On top of Spaghetti."   Well, these two words {Envy and Jealousy} have been rolling through my mind like  meatballs  rolling to the floor when somebody Sneezed!!


How can people have So much Envy in their hearts? 

Envy is defined as:  A feeling of discontent or covetousness with regard to another's advantages or success! 

 Do you see love written anywhere in this definition? 

As I see it, nothing good can be obtained when you harbor anger, gossip, irrational mannerisms, a mean spirit or envious feelings in
your heart.  Jealousy or Envy are simply not very becoming!!

It's so important to keep that beautiful rose of friendship blooming!  Envy and jealousy can do nothing but rot the stem of a friendship and destroy it's radiant bloom!

Zippity-do-da-Weekend!

GOOD HAPPY Morning TO YOU ALL.

Just left the Doctor's office and it seems that I have a small problem going on with my right thumb.  This thumb is actually totally numb at the moment. 

The doctor gave me a big shot at the base of the thumb, so I can't feel it at all right now. 
Oh yes, the shot hurt like crazy, but one good thing is that my thumb feels great at this moment.

My weekend was fabulous....One grandson turned 15 on Saturday, two grandsons were selected as ALL-STARS for the Little Dribblers Basketball team  (more on this coming up on a later post), Spent half a day Sat...and most of the day on Sunday at First Monday (more on this later in the week), and spent the night at a hotel in Dallas last night!

It is cold outside, but the sun is shining, so we have much to be thankful for!

On our way home and I am waiting with great anticipation for the rest of our Blessings today.

Great Day....

This is certainly a beautiful Sunday, here in good ol' East Texas. The SON....is shining brightly, the birds are singing sweet melodies, and I am Praising God,.... for HE is worthy to be Praised!

I am actually on my way to Dallas today...I have an early morning appointment with the doctor who did my hand surgery!  Just having a small problem with the right hand, but I have confidence that it can be fixed.

I wasn't able to attend church this morning but I still am able to give God the Honor and Glory that is He DESERVES..today.

Already this day, I have seen beautiful red birds sitting upon the beautiful budded tree branches.  Every time I see a red bird, it reminds me of a saying that my friends and I used to say in the younger days.  (Red Bird, Red Bird, fly to the right....I'll see my fella before tonight).....Crazy?  yes Crazy!

I have also seen longhorn cattle grazing in the beautiful green pastures, red bud trees in the brightest of colors, and forsythia plants adorning their brightly yellow bonnets.

So much beauty that surrounds us each day....What an AWESOME GOD we serve...
