Good morning!!!
I finally made it to Texas!! Woo Hoo 👏
we had a cancelled flight from JFK New York and had to end up spending the night in a hotel. Trista, Mylee and I....were able to catch an early morning flight...but the rest of the crew were not able to fly out until late That afternoon.
we had a fabulous trip for sure. Several sunny days and one day that was very windy, rainy and cold.
Exhausted?? I slept Eleven hours last night. Still need a few more days to catch up.
Sam has had a few issues while I was gone. For one thing, the lens that was put in when he had cataract surgery years ago, has torn loose and is up in the top of his eye socket. This is going to require surgery. They are working on getting us booked now. I'll be taking him to the lung specialist this afternoon at 3:00. He has more fluid built up around the right lung.
I'm just making this quick post this morning and hopefully be back into Blog Mode tomorrow depending on how things go with Sam.
Hope you all have a wonderful Day! I've missed y'all.
Shug.. 💛
Yay, you're home.! I have been praying and continued prayers for Sam. God is good and He has Sam in His arms to carry him through this next "adventure."
ReplyDeleteRest my friend and will look forward to hearing about the trip ... all in good time ...
(((hugs)))
Sue
Praying for Sam...hope they get him scheduled soon for the lens problem to be corrected and that things go well with the lung doctor's appointment.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're home safely. Prayers for Sam's surgery and all to be well. 🙏🏻
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I am so glad to see you!! HOW did the lens come loose; I have never heard of such a thing.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! That's a lot of traveling, you must be exhausted even with an 11 hour nap! Sending prayers for Sam...and you! ❤️
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a good trip, even with the cancelled flight.
ReplyDeleteSending love and hugs to Sam. I hope the eye surgery goes well and the appointment with the lung specialist. Thinking of you both.
Welcome back! So glad you had a wonderful trip (obviously your resilience serves you well). I've already begun to pray for Sam's eye and lung problems.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're finally home safe and sound, Shug! So sorry to hear about Sam, though. Poor guy has just been through the wringer! I'll be in prayer for his eye and his lungs.
ReplyDelete... and we've missed you, Shug! Despite the delay(s), I'm happy y'all are home safe and sound. I'm guessing you're at the lung doctor now ... I'm praying for an easy resolution, both for his lung and the upcoming eye surgery.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, friend. Glad you had a wonderful time. Prayers for Sam. 🙏
ReplyDeleteI am with Ginny, did not know that could happen, prayers for the surgery. welcome home

ReplyDeleteUffda Sam needs to catch a break! I will pray harder for him!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're back home safely, Shug, and I'm sorry to hear about Sam having to have eye surgery and also has fluid built up in his lung. Take care, Shug. You must be exhausted after your trip. But I know you had a fantastic trip that you will share when the time is right.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back and sending prayers to Sam and to you.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I didn't know that could happen after cataract surgery! That is something to be aware of for sure. I hope they can take care of it quickly. Is he able to see out the eye?
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are home safe and sound at last. I know you had a wonderful time, and I can't wait to see the pictures, but first things first. Get your rest, and take care of these issues with Sam. We'll still be here waiting when things settle down a bit for you. (((HUGS)))
Hi Shug! I'm glad you made it back. It sure looked cold there! I'm sure Sam is glad you're home and there to help him with his health issues. Get some rest and take care of your hubby. We'll be here when you return :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome home. I look forward to hearing about your trip once you get settled in
ReplyDeleteWe have missed you! You are a bright spot in this Blogland! Welcome home, my friend.
ReplyDeleteGood Thursday morning, Shug. WELCOME HOME. You were very missed, for sure. Glad you had a good night's sleep but get more. Trips are fabulous but they do take a lot out of us. I am so glad you had that break! Sorry Sam has some extra challenges. Still hold that man in prayer. So glad you are back. Susan
ReplyDeleteI'm late in reading. Sorry. Glad you are home and had a good time. I am so sorry about Sam's eye. And his fluid. So much going on. Prayers of course.
