Here we are....Tuesday morning already!! Election Day. Thank goodness, Sam and I voted early.

Moving on here....
Last week, I purchased a cute "star burst" tree at Walmart.
So today, I get to take it back!
Things like this happen don't they?
While I am in town today, I thought I might stop by Home Goods!! Looking for some white ceramic Christmas trees.
Recently, our youngest daughter (Shanda) found her grandmother's paints and brushes.... as we were cleaning out their house and getting ready for the estate sale.
Shanda brought "Nina's" art supplies home and has been piddling with this (New) hobby for a few months now.
As a beginner, I think she is doing great....
This past weekend, she painted this Christmas tree and she did a beautiful job at painting the details.
This my friends is my news for Tuesday.
Everyone, Enjoy this Blessed Day.

There's no elections in our area today.
ReplyDeleteBummer on the cute little tree.
Shanda did great!
A beginner?? That is a beautiful tree! If it was for sale somewhere I'd buy it.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt she is talented. The tree is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer about the star burst tree. I do not like having to make return trips, but luckily Walmart's return is in the front of the store.
Since there are no elections in my area I would have forgotten about the importance o the day if not for my blog friends :-)
ReplyDeleteWe have a important vote today and we voted on Friday. I will be surprised if my side wins - This is a solid one party state. 😡
ReplyDeleteOh, what a bummer about the little tree, it is so pretty! Have you checked the battery? I do hate to take things back, but even more I hate to mail things back that I ordered online. Oh, your daughter is very talented in painting! That is beautiful!! I hope she keeps it up!! Well, happy shopping today!! maybe you'll find something even better than that little starburst tree. It is so pretty, however, What a shame!!!
ReplyDeleteThe little starburst tree is so pretty. What a shame it worked only 5 minutes! Shoot! Your daughter has talent! She is an artist. Her painting is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love your daughter's painting, Shug. I'd say she'f very talented! Maybe, you can find a better tree at Home Goods? Hope so! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteIt's annoying when things stop working so quickly, but it happens!
ReplyDeleteGlad you and Sam have voted. Shanda did a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow blogger, who has struggled with health problems all her life, recently wrote, “Choose joy!! Relentlessly!! “. 😊❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕
ReplyDeleteGood grief, Shanda's tree is amazing!! She is an artist. I can barely draw a stick man. Target had some lovely little white trees that light up in their dollar aisle. Different sizes, and they had little holes for the light to shine through.
ReplyDeleteWe voted early too. Sigh It doesn't look good for the decision we want...ok enough said.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love that painting. There is no "beginner" about it. Hope you find some white ceramic trees.
So sorry about your twinklie tree not working. How frustrating..
Have a great day Shug.
Sue
I am going in a couple hours to vote - waiting for Kelly to get home.
ReplyDeleteI think she did a fantastic job on that tree - hard to believe she is a beginner.
Hope you found something at Home Goods!
Beautiful painting! She is talented!!
ReplyDeleteDarn on the twinkle tree ... bigger "Darn!" on having to return it. Thanks for the head's up, things aren't always what they seem. At least she didn't give it to a someone as a gift!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I'd never guess your Shasta is a beginner. Has she always had a natural talent for brush and ink? This looks frame-worthy!
Oh no on the tree. I like the lights but they need to work longer than 5 minutes.
ReplyDeleteShanda has talent. I love the painting of the Christmas tree.
Did you find any trees? I was at TJ/TK Maxx today and they had soooo many trees. Took a few photos of them. Love this time of year. Will check out HomeGoods/HomeSense this week for goodie as well. Two fun stores!
