All about the Temperature!!

This little cartoon made me laugh this morning..  So True!!
This describes us Texans to a capital T.

First sign of Spring and out comes the flip flops, shorts, sunshades and swim suits. Temps outdoor - 70 degrees!
First sign of Fall and out comes the sweaters, blankets, fires and all the ingredients to make S'mores.  Temps outdoors - 70 degrees!

Weather today 72 degrees this morning....92 degrees expected this afternoon.
Today, I'm wearing a casual dress and tennis shoes!!  LOL

  1. Yep, same for us in Indiana, Shug. Why does 70 in spring feel so warm and 70 in fall feel so chilly?! Love, Andrea xoxo

  3. That cartoon is so true! I was just thinking that when it was in the 60's and I was remembering how good that felt in the Spring.
Praying the virtual appt next week goes well.

  4. That pretty much happens everywhere. Actually, it's because in Spring, the sun is in a higher position than in Fall.
I'm praying for good news on the virtual appointment! God Bless.

  5. Lol! Love it! I think that sun is genuinely warmer in the Spring than it is in the Fall too. It's similar here too. And so excited in that Springtime to get out our summer things. :)

  6. Oh, I love that, Shug. It's been in the 50's when I get in my car early mornings. And I've been wearing sweaters until the afternoon when it warms up again. Take care today, Shug. I know you have a busy day ahead of you.

  7. This made me laugh, too, and it is so true. I guess it is because we are always ready and waiting for the next season and a change.

  8. I can only hope that our Second Summer of 95 degree temperatures end soon! At first a front was supposed to come through today, but it keeps getting pushed back. Currently the forecast says Saturday, with cooler weather after that.

  10. It's been in the low to mid 60's here in the morning lately, but gets up to high 80's in the afternoon...still for us here in Florida, that is really good for September, although we really need RAIN badly!!! But your cartoon was SO true. I can't wait to wear my flannel shirt and have a fire outside and make s'mores!! Bring it on!!!

  14. I have always said that about here in Pennsylvania too. A spring 60 degrees is a lot warmer than a fall 60 degrees.

  19. I'm bundled in a rob/hoodie, having a cuppa looking out as the leaves fall. I LOVE IT. Headed outside soon to get some snaps. Funny about your 70 degrees either way. I've never been to Texas but I hear it's hot there. I hear TN gets hot too. But I've never been so I don't know for sure.
