Life 360 and a Shower

Well friends...I sure have missed catching up with everyone the past few days. Honestly, I feel like I need "Life360" just to keep up with y'all.  😊 My kids use it, but I'm not too sure I want anyone knowing every single time I take a "detour" through Hobby Lobby or to Sonic for my favorite strawberry lemonade drink. lol.

The reason I've been a little quiet is because I'be been busy helping host a wedding shower for our youngest grandson, Trey, and his soon-to-be bride, Savannah. 💕 It was such a special day! A very dear friend of mine who lives in a gated community with a gorgeous golf course and clubhouse offered to book one of the big rooms for us. Let me just say....it was a perfect spot. Spacious, easy, and stress-free.

The clubhouse crew handled everything: a beautiful table full of brunch finger foods, mimosas, tea, juices, water and desserts....petit fours, as well as donut
towers.  All we had to do was show up with a few decorations, and the staff took care of the rest.  I could get used to this kind of hosting!!  The couple was showered with so many thoughtful and useful gifts, and the best part?

NO CLEAN UP for Us...... This is my kind of party planning!!  💛💛💛

The wedding is just around the corner.....September 20th.....at a beautiful venue on the peninsula of a lake. Can you imagine? Water sparkling all around, the happy couple saying "I do," and our family and friends all celebrating the lovely couple. I just know it is going to be magical, and we are all so excited for them.  (You might remember me posting about how their original venue canceled on them about a month ago??  God opened doors and the venue they now have will be even prettier than the original..)

These two love each other and they love the outdoors....they fish together, duck hunt together, deer hunt, hog hunt and just enjoy being on the lake or being in nature with their two labs, Remi and Jake.

Family, friends, love, laughter, good food and no dishes....what more could a Shug ask for?  It was a great day!!

Shug....
