Well friends...I sure have missed catching up with everyone the past few days. Honestly, I feel like I need "Life360" just to keep up with y'all. 😊 My kids use it, but I'm not too sure I want anyone knowing every single time I take a "detour" through Hobby Lobby or to Sonic for my favorite strawberry lemonade drink. lol.
The reason I've been a little quiet is because I'be been busy helping host a wedding shower for our youngest grandson, Trey, and his soon-to-be bride, Savannah. 💕 It was such a special day! A very dear friend of mine who lives in a gated community with a gorgeous golf course and clubhouse offered to book one of the big rooms for us. Let me just say....it was a perfect spot. Spacious, easy, and stress-free.
NO CLEAN UP for Us...... This is my kind of party planning!! 💛💛💛
The wedding is just around the corner.....September 20th.....at a beautiful venue on the peninsula of a lake. Can you imagine? Water sparkling all around, the happy couple saying "I do," and our family and friends all celebrating the lovely couple. I just know it is going to be magical, and we are all so excited for them. (You might remember me posting about how their original venue canceled on them about a month ago?? God opened doors and the venue they now have will be even prettier than the original..)
Family, friends, love, laughter, good food and no dishes....what more could a Shug ask for? It was a great day!!
Shug....
It sounds just the ticket, especially the not clearing up bit!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteThat's my kind of hosting too! Sounds like a really special time. I'm happy to hear that the wedding site is all taken care of now too.

ReplyDeleteIt all looks beautiful, and the food looks so good! Wow, your background and header are awesome! I have a top the same print and color as your background. How on earth did you create this amazing header, I have never seen one like it?

Sounds like a perfect set up! And I know the bride to be was blessed with all kinds of wonderful things! Just having everyone there celebrating was a big gift! And how nice you didn't have to wear yourselves out with cooking and cleanup. That is the best deal ever!! Congratulations to the happy couple. I'm so glad they found an even better place for their wedding! Yep, Romans 8:28 sounds like it came into play on this situation!! What a blessing!
ReplyDeleteI love it when Good Things happen to Good People! These images look like something out of Brides Magazine, Shug ... well done!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you all!
