Vision Boards.
Can you believe we are already halfway through the year?
In the same way that we give ourselves a New Year's resolution spree, I thought, why not refresh my dreams. The second half of the year is full of opportunity, and creating a new vision board is the perfect way to map out my intentions as well as reignite my motivation.
I wrote out my vision board and all that is left to do is decorate it and place it on my refrigerator.
This is the example I have put together.......
Health and Wellness:
* Daily Walks in the evening
* Drink more water....maybe add lime or lemons
* Make sure all my yearly check-ups have been completed or scheduled.
Family and Relationships:
* Plan a weekend for us to get together
* Call to check in on Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
* Send out more Cards....not just Facebook wishes
Faith and Spiritual Growth:
* Commit to adding to my morning devotions
* Make sure I am up to date on my gratitude journaling
* Serve others as often as I can
Creativity:
* Try my hand with a new skill....Mixed Media Art.
* Finish my book
Home and Organization:
* Create a more personal reading nook
* Burn more candles
* Declutter our bathroom cabinets
Finance and Giving:
* Make sure I have all of our spending tracked
* Support a charity that speaks to my heart.
Joy and Adventure:
* Watch more Sunsets
* Try one new recipe a month
* Say "yes" to something spontaneous.
Upcoming Holiday's:
* Plan ahead and organize my intentions.
* Create a colored giving list.
The year certainly is not over. It is only halfway cooked, and I figure I still have time to make the rest of the year flow easier by following my vision board as close as I can.
Now, to get busy making this Fun and hopefully, very creative board.
Happy Friday Dear Friends...
Shug.....💛
What a good idea! I am going to do this as well. I have a small whiteboard on the fridge already. You have always given me so many good ideas over the years. And I see a few of your goals that I am going to steal, as well. Love your cool new matching header and background!
ReplyDeleteI love your vision board, Shug, and what wonderful goals you have. I have no doubt you will meet every one...or almost every one. Blessings for a soft weekend, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love ❤️ your vision board illustration. Fantastic post and great goals.
ReplyDeletesounds like a great vision to me, and will be a lot of fun doing it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Shug! The goals and visions I had in January do change, especially in the warm weather, when my perspective is totally different!!
ReplyDeleteI like your vision board ideas! It's a good idea to write things down sometimes, it makes it more likely to happen.
ReplyDeletePraying that Sam is feeling better today.
Oh Shug, I love your vision board. I handle mine a little differently, with lists and journals, but it's something I look at each day. My calendar on the Frig is for appointments etc. My journal is for my private goals. One that I am very proud of is I have kept my weight withing 3 lbs for almost 5 years. That's because I keep a food journal and write down every thing I eat and post my weight every day. Not for everyone but it works for me. Everyone needs a Personal Plan. Thanks for sharing yours. I love it, and will take from it some ideas for myself. Love you tons.
ReplyDeleteYou are a lovely person.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a vision board, Shug. It can truly help us to see where we've been, where we wish to go, and how we can get there. Your aspirations are inspirations. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of the "vision boards" before, sounds delightful. Yours certainly has a lot of wonderful things on there. I hope you have fun with your vision board, Shug. I make lists all the time, and when I cross them off with a black check mark, it feels awesome.
ReplyDeleteHave a pleasant weekend, dear Shug.
