Have you ever stood in front of a Tower of Donuts?
Around here, we are gearing up for an upcoming wedding shower brunch for which I hope will equally be part sweet and part stylish.
Guess what will be making a debut on the serving table? Donut Stands! I found these adorable wooden stands online, and what a perfect way to say "I Do.....love donuts." When I saw them, I couldn't resist adding these adorable Donut Towers to our brunch menu. I plan to select a rainbow of sprinkled..... glazed......frosted....and of course.... some chocolate donut goodness, that will be stacked high... kinda like a sugary skyscraper of pure happiness. Makes me hungry for a donut, right now.
Our brunch menu is coming together beautifully and I have no doubt that the donut towers will be a highlight as I just think they are whimsical, colorful and perfect for a quick instagram photo.
Is it Okay to compare marriage to a donut tower? LOL...😀😀 Like, finding sweetness in your love for one another, the beautiful sprinkles of joy in sharing life with someone who makes your heart happy, making each day fun and colorful, and knowing that there will be a few sticky days ahead. Got to be real here too...we all know that in every marriage, there will be sticky days that requires cleaning up our sticky attitudes.
"Just like a donut, a relationship can have it's sweet moments and it's sticky situations. It's how you handle the stickiness that makes it last."
Anyways....I thought these were cute and wanted to share them with you all. They are perfect for Birthday parties or for any celebration......or just to have at home for when breakfast calls for delicious donuts...
Mine were purchased from off of Amazon!!
Happy Friday!!

Love the donut towers - what a good idea. Those would be so easy to make for a fraction of the retail cost. Thanks for the creative idea!
ReplyDeleteDonuts are hard for me to resist. It’s a battle every Sunday because my church provides donuts and bagels after service for fellowship time. Even worse, once a month, it’s my turn to pick up the donuts and as I drive to church I can smell the delicious aroma - I’d say I’m doing pretty good not having one but there’s a lot of back and forth going on in my mind. Argh!
Ohhhhhhh Shug!!! Donut towers....what a novel & *wonderful* idea!!! The shower brunch is going to be devine, I have no doubt. I wish I lived closer...I would help you with it. Have a grand time! ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis is an absolute GENIUS idea!!!! Not only does everyone love donuts, but the stands will give them all something to talk about and admire!!!
ReplyDeleteI have seen these, but not in person. They look adorable and I am patiently waiting for this wedding shower brunch and seeing pictures of the bride to be as well as all of the yummy food you will come up with. Have a blessed weekend, my friend. xx
ReplyDeleteI hope your internet comes back soon!
ReplyDeleteThe donut towers are so cute! My niece had a similar donut dessert at her wedding, but there were pegs on a wooden wall that held the donuts. However, there was one issue - many of the donuts didn't have a big enough hole to fit on the peg. So just a warning - you may want to check that! But I bet it will work and will be a great hit!
Now, that's a sweet idea if ever there was one, Shug. I'm looking forward to hearing about how this wedding shower turns out - I'm sure the guests will love the donut towers. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love the loving donut couple at the end, adorable. they certainly look pretty and delicious. and FUN
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a donut tower, but now you've made me hungry.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to choose donuts without gooey frosting so they don't stick together on the racks.
