It's Pollen Season!

Happy Saturday morning to my wonderful friends...

You would think that after all the rain we have had this past week, that the air would be fresh and clean, right?  Wrong!

Mother Nature apparently decided that rain was not a match for the mighty pollen. Yesterday was a full-on sneezing festival for me. It was a sneeze after sneeze and then another sneeze.

Although you can't really see the pollen swirling around, it is out there! Before the rains, you could tell that pollen had no shame. Yellow dust on the cars, the porch, and even on my outdoor rugs. ...... I'm pretty sure that my plants are laughing behind my back...saying: "you wanted blooms and here we are!"

At this point, I've just accepted that I have gained a new fashion accessory, which is a trusted box of tissues. Spring sure knows how to keep us humble....and slightly yellow.

Spring???   Messy, Beautiful, and very sneezy.

Even with all the "A'choo's".....today is a gift!

Y'all have a Happy, Beautiful Saturday!!

Shug....💛

  8. thecontemplativecat here. Pollen is a curse. Never was bothered by it as a young adult. But now I have hay fever when the wind gets going.

  9. Awww, I'm sorry. I have quite a few allergies and know how miserable they are. Have you tried any allergy meds? I take three! Flonase, Zyrtec, and Singular. all prescribed by my doctor of course.

... or, after 3 such 'bless you's' my hubby's likely to say, "One more and you're on your own." (lol) Fortunately, I'm one of the weird people who enjoy a good sneeze.

  14. The pollen has been really bad here too. I was hoping that the rain we have been having would wash it away, but after reading here, I don't think I will get my hopes up. xx
