Our weather guy spoke the words that I've been waiting to hear. "We most likely will not be having any more deep cold weather plunges in East Texas."
He did state that we might possibly have a couple of cold fronts, but nothing reaching below 50 degrees.

I immediately had a breath of fresh air!
Is it too early to decorate for Easter?
My answer? Maybe....Maybe not.
These two cuties were calling my name this past week while I was at Target.
How could I ignore them?
As soon as I walked down the next isle, the same thing happened with these adorable bunnies......
I like to think of decorating for Easter as creating a space that reflects joy, renewal, and hope of the season. If adding
a few duck and bunny figurines brings a smile to my families faces, then why wait?
I'm going to go ahead and unbox my
Easter decorations and let the Spring
colors fill our home.
After all.......a little extra joy is always
in Season!!
How about you all? Do you have any Easter Decorations out yet?
Shug....
5 generation photo..
Poppie, Sam, Trista, Tucker
and baby William.
The photo is a treasure!
ReplyDeleteIt's 43 degrees here at the moment! Hooray for signs of Spring.
I don't have anything out for Easter yet, but I'm ready to be thinking on it!
I'm ready for Spring! I've started pulling out some of my Spring cross stitch and decorations.
ReplyDeleteI don’t decorate for Easter. I do for Spring instead. I will pull out a few St Patrick’s Day decorations, mixed in with the spring. We’re warming up this week to almost 80 which will be nice. Then back again to some rain which is fine because our season is not over yet. I actually like the back and forth. It gives a much needed reprieve after too many rain days. All too soon, it will be our hot and dry season.
ReplyDeleteYou don’t often see a 5 generation photo so that is so special. Wow.
I like your burlap bunnies on the garland. I like using burlap in crafts.
Enjoy Spring!
I would say very few people have 5 generations. We have 4 but not five. You are blessed. I saw it was getting warmer in Texas there. I love that you are decorating this early. It is never to early to celebrate joy.
ReplyDeleteThe 5 generation photo is wonderful! Everyone looks so good. Love the bunny mantel. And I think I will be going to Target soon. I can't wait to see all your Easter decorating! YES! I have most of mine out! After all, I hear that Easter is coming early this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful five generation photo! Nope no decorating here yet...most likely waiting til Ash Wednesday:)
ReplyDeleteThat picture of the five generations is a treasure, Shug. You must frame that one. I don't think it's too early to decorate for Easter if that's what makes you happy. I love those ducks you found at Target. Target always has fun things for the seasons. And that little garland of bunny bottoms is so cute hanging from the mantel. Can't wait to see more of your Easter stuff when you unbox your Spring goodies, Shug.

Love~Love~Love that photo of five generations! And absolutely pull out those bunnies and ducks! They are sure signs of spring! Have a cozy day in your part of the country, my friend. It is sunny here!
ReplyDeleteI do not have out any Easter decorations yet...but it won't be long. I did put out my things for St. Patrick's Day though. :) Love the five-generation picture! SO precious! We are having a beautiful day today...50 degrees and the sun is shining! Yipee!
ReplyDeleteOh, that photo of the 5 generations just touches my heart.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful memory in the years to come.
Spring is definitely just around the corner. I guess I have got to put away my winter bird and drag out my bunny and if I can find him my cute little duck too.
That will about do it for the decorating but hey, its better than nothing...

Yay for mild weather ahead!! And I have decided I'm getting out the Easter decorations this weekend as I'm so ready to enjoy flowers, bunnies and all things Spring because it makes me happy. And it is almost Lent already, so I'm going for it! Love the 5 generation pic - precious. Blessings to you lovely Lady. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh, that five generations photo is so precious, Shug!!! We are having lots of warmer temperatures, too, and spring is definitely in the air. No, I don't do any special decorating for Easter, believe it or not. Have an amazing day!
ReplyDeleteHi Shug! I don't think it's too early to decorate for Easter! I need to get thr cute little ducks out that I bought at Target a few years ago! You ducks and bunnies are adorable! They really do have some cute decor. Love the five generation
ReplyDeleteLove the five generation photo. What a blessing to be able to have that photo. Have a great week... Hugs, Barb
ReplyDeletesuper shots of your family. love it. those bunnies and ducks are so cute. why not enjoy while you wait for Easter. pretty is pretty and why leave it in the box
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be getting out my bunnies tomorrow. Glad to find a like minded person! Spring has sprung here in Georiga. Today's temperature reached 74*F. I made a trip to Walmart to see what they had. I bought some daffodils.
ReplyDeleteEaster decorations are quite some time away here. First is Mardi Gras (this weekend), then somberness for Lent (which starts on March 5), punctuated by green for St. Patrick's Day on the 17th. Around the time of the vernal equinox on the 20th I'll start thinking about springtime.
ReplyDeleteWe finally had a day of sunshine and warm temps. Hooray! Nothing below 50 degrees sounds wonderful to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a priceless image your 5 generations! The only part of our little home that gets decorated is the dining room, but it's still strewn with all things Mardi Gras. I don't remember having anything Easter-specific, but that needs to change! Thanks for the prompt!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! We're still under snow, so Easter looks a bit far off! (ツ) from Jenn Jilks , ON, Canada!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo with the 5 generations. I don't have my Easter stuff out yet but I did put out some things for St. Patrick's day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a heartwarming picture! ❤️
ReplyDeleteIs there ever a bad time for Joy? Go ahead and decorate, who cares what other people think. If it makes you happy, just do it. I love the 5-generation photo, that should be a goal in everyone's life.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am going to decorate Saturday!! I love Easter, it is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love the 5 generation photo!!!
Carla
The duck and bunny figurines are lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. I've never seen a five generation one before--only four. What a blessing.
