Friday, the day when the universe whispers in my ear, "Hey, you've survived the week."
Even my coffee tastes better on Fridays because..... I add a few magic vibes to it.
I have always LOVED Fridays because they are the gateway to the weekend, and who doesn't love a good weekend?
Fridays feel like FREE days for me! The house is clean, the laundry is done, and I've finished all the cooking I plan to do for the week..... Fridays mean NO CHORES and NO COOKING for the next 2 days!!
Fridays are even great if you don't have anything exciting planned for the weekend. You just roll with the flow. On Saturdays, I slap on a little makeup (just in case one of the girls drops by and wants to go shopping) and I'm ready for whatever the day brings.
I worked at least 60 + hours this past week and I earned ZERO $ Dollars, but life isn't always about money. I love my job of keeping our household running smoothly.
My Friday and my weekend energy is loading even as I am typing this post. Let's do this!!

Happy Weekend to you too. My week has been "limping" along and I am ready for the weekend too. After I do my time with my Alzheimer's friend it's clear sailing after that. Glad you have no chores..I do.. but that's ok. Life is different when one is 81 and 83. Time is sometimes in a different dimension for us..(:0)

ReplyDeleteAnd I am drinking coffee right NOW A vanilla bean K-cup. With lots of foam. We are both retired, so one day looks much like the next to us. It is hard to even remember what the day is! I like how you cook for the weekend!
