Tuesday's plan: Coffee in one hand, confidence in the other.
Let me tell you about my Monday!
(ha....that statement reminds me of one of my favorite songs....) "Let me tell you bout my JESUS."
We all know that Monday's have long been stereotyped as the least favorite day of the Week. Everyone enjoys their weekends, AND Monday is the first day of the workweek. Blah, blah!!
Of course, this is not how it is for those who work weekends.
My Monday of this week was spent having lunch with the "Gypsy Queens."
Yesterday was our day (for the month of October) to have lunch and we even did a little shopping.
The Hamburger factory and a few boutiques/antique shops were the main focus of our day.
We traveled to a nearby town where these things exist.
this was us yesterday.....and I was driving!!
The Hamburger Factory is well known for having the best burgers around, and would you believe that I failed to take a picture of my almost Perfect burger and sweet pot fries.
I say almost, because it did have meat on it!!
LOL...I know you are all laughing at that comment.
I did take the meat off, as I prefer a veggie burger with NO onions.
I purchased a "t-shirt" at one shop because it was cute and the price was on $12.99.
And I also made a purchase when we stopped by the Cracker Barrel store.
cute little Christmas hinge boxes.
I always give my daughters one of these for Christmas each year.
I love these little boxes.
See.....Monday's do not have to be Blah days do they?
I so enjoy carving out time for lunch dates with friends and what better day to do so, than on a Monday.
My week began with lots of laughs, connection and positivity. My social activity has been re-charged and I'm ready for the rest of the week.
My friend Susie was entertaining us out on the sidewalk. lol
my friend Vicki.....she found her a man!
Crazy Friends make life Colorful!!
Blessing and Love.

What a wonderful project you are working on....Can't wait to see pictures.
DeleteDelightful Monday !! Good Food and Good Friends , there is nothing quite like that.
ReplyDeleteI love the AI picture of "you driving your friends on your adventure". Made me giggle.
Yesterday Dave and I had our "Mondaydate". There is a casino near us that has opened up a buffet again, after being shutdown during Covid. It was a nice outing and fun to have a choice of food to eat for a change. We need those Dates every now and then.
Sue
Hi Sue. My friends and I are so thankful that we can enjoy lunch together once a month. Your Mondaydate sounds fun...I've heard that the casino's have great buffets. I love having good choices on a buffet...especially the sweets..
DeleteWhat a cute little pumpkin. Your T-shirt is so cute, well...both cute and pretty at the same time and I love the colors. Also love the raking man in the snow globe!
ReplyDeletethanks Ginny. I actually wore my t-shirt today and had a lot of compliments on it. Hope your afternoon is fun!
DeleteI had to laugh at the 3 old ladies in the car...too freakin' cute!

DeleteYou had a fun day Monday! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteI agree that Monday can be anything you want when work isn't involved.
ReplyDeleteI love you had a great Monday. I have to say that is my favorite day of the week.
ReplyDeleteYou had so much fun - and you don't eat meat? I would love to find a great hamburger here. lol Love the 3 women in the car. And if you love me more than pumpkin pie - then you love me a lot!
That leaf 'snow globe' is a panic! Just reading, "Hamburger Factory" made my mouth start watering, and what better company than your Gypsy Queens?! Life's short, but y'all seem to be making the best of it. Carry on!
