Everyone in East Texas knows what an old Farmall tractor looks like. My grandpa had one, my dad had one and my husband has always farmed with one.
However......none of them ever had one like this!!
Sam and I were coming home from Mylee's softball game last week.......driving through several adjoining Country towns.......and my eye spotted this old thing!
Isn't she a beauty? I think the name of the town was Winsboro. Whoever dressed this thing up, did an outstanding job.
We were in a hurry, so I didn't really get to stop and examine it. I only had time to grab a few pictures.
This town is about 60 miles from us, so hopefully I will be able to make another trip up that way and truly be able to explore the details that went into decorating the old tractor.

Wow, I have never seen anything like it!! It is amazing!! And it must be one of a kind. And also a gorgeous sky background in the header photo.
ReplyDeleteHello, wow, this is unique. You will have to checkout the town too and give us a report. :-)

ReplyDeleteLost my comment! It is really is something to see. I hope you make it back again, I would love to see some of the details! Have a great week! Hugs, Barb
ReplyDeleteYou spotted a work of art in that sturdy tractor. When we had five acres of apples we had a reliable old tractor, they are the best.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your posts, and your photos. I too live in East Texas, in "the oldest town in Texas". I would be fun to see each other and compare notes about our homes and church life. T. C.
