Season's......

I'm not sure about the rest of you....but I find this cold weather to be quite refreshing!  I really mean it!  We are not having to shovel snow or deal with icy weather....and for this, I am truly thankful.

It is actually 44 degrees outside and I truly love it.  What am I wearing on my feet right now?  Nothing!  I'm barefooted.   As I told someone this past week, I think my feet are the queen's of hot flashes!  Just give me my flip flops and I am a VERY happy camper.

Speaking of Season's, don't you just love each new season?    Like, how great is the Season of Summer?

I find this particular season to be absolutely GREAT and refreshing!

There is Spring, when flowers are blooming and new life is all around us...

I love the fresh smells of the Spring Season...

How about Fall......the Season that I get excited about....   After a long, hot Summer here in East Texas, I'm always ready to welcome Fall.   Orange Pumpkins, Great tasting foods, hayrides and all kinds of enthusiasm fills the air.

and then there is Winter......

The season that can bring the "Winter Blues"

We also have Seasons in our Spiritual life.........

To be continued..........

  1. I love all the seasons, but my least favourite is summer, or more accurately, the hottest days of summer. I try not to complain about the weather, but heat drags me downwind I do get a little tired of a long cold spell. But,God is good and there is always something to be thankful for. Hope the week ahead is a good one for you.

  2. Hi, Shug!

You are having a cold spell! We are actually suppose to get into the mid 30's this week, talk about, tropical and balmy! Last week one day the high was only -1. I'm kind of looking forward to the heat... :0)

I hear ya about the flip flops. I never wear shoes unless it is really cold. My fuzzy slippers are a few years old and look like they have never been worn. My feet do tend to get hot!

I'm looking forward to Spring. I love living where I have such a dramatic change of seasons, I love them all!!

Looking forward to the rest of the story . . .

    Hugs,
    Barb

  3. Hi Shug! I love your pictures representing the seasons. And I AGREE. I would not want to live in a place where it is always hot or always cold. The best place is somewhere we can experience the newness of each season!! All that God has to offer! The special beauty of each one. I adore your header! Your family picture is so beautiful! They are each one gorgeous and full of joy.
