Wow that was some storm. I have been in Texas in the spring so I know what those Texas-sized storms are like - tornadoes and all. Beautiful, beautiful rainbow and sunset pictures. God is good! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteKeeping you and tbe great state
ReplyDeleteof Texas in our prayers!
I am ready for the faucet to turn off for a bit as I am sure you are.
Such beautiful "after" pictures!

Hi Shug!
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow!! You guys are saturated!! I sure hope you get some reprieve soon, or we will have to start building another ark!!
The photos are just gorgeous, I have never seen a sky so orange! At firs, I thought it was a picture of a fire! That rainbow gives me hope!

Shug, the rain this year in Texas has been pretty amazing and so dangerous in some areas. The whole mess in Wimberly is so sad. I'm ready for a bit of sunshine to dry things off, but the forecast doesn't indicate that at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAmazing and beautiful sky! Texas has really been hit hard with the rains, storms and tornadoes. Hope you and your family are stay safe! We have had more than enough rain here and they are calling for more this week.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are okay. Son Mark called several times last night (and texted) talking about all of the flooding in Houston.. GADS---unbelievable...
ReplyDeleteMark is in Seabrook --and is fine. He even made it to work in Sugarland today. BUT--the worst part was the downtown Houston area... Scary.
Glad you are not getting flooding.
Hugs,
Betsy
wow, the heavens above,
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of rain. Those gorgeous sky shots are breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and glad to hear from you during these rainy/stormy times!
ReplyDeleteHow amazing it must've been to see this in person. Wow wow wow. It's incredible the amount of rain Texas is receiving these days. Poor California must be looking on helplessly. But, from what I remember, Texas can always use extra rain. God bless those poor folks getting flooded.
ReplyDeleteWe've gotten lots of rain this year, but it's been in manageable increments unlike what some of Texas is getting. Poor people. The sky shots are incredible. Texas has always been a state of extremes. For many parts of Texas this rain must be answered prayer as the drought has carried on some time now. Stay on high ground.

Wow! You guys have certainly had more than your share of rain! The news showing all of the flooding is pretty scary. But your pics are beautiful. I too thought the gorgeous header was of a fire. Love that rainbow. Take care
ReplyDeleteIm glad you are OK and seeing rainbows. I heard somebody on the radio comment that Texas has been praying for rain for years, but they didn't mean for it to all come at once.
ReplyDeleteWow, you Have been getting soaked. My lil sis is down for a visit and she says there's water everywhere...prayers the flooding stops NOW. God has his reasons., some of which we are not meant to understand.
ReplyDeleteI do see HE has blessed you with gorgeous sunsets and breathless rainbows.
Stay dry and thanks so much for stopping by. I missed you while I was taking a long winter's nap.
Beautiful photos!! Sorry, about all that rain.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Gert
