Wait a minute.....do you know what happens when a person tries to multitask?? Sometimes, multitasking does not work. Especially, when your focus is being strained on another task.
I wasn't even finished with this post and I somehow POSTED it.
These pictures were taken last year as Sam and I traveled to Waxahachie to see the Bluebonnets.
I am hoping to make a trip to South Texas to see them again this year.
I am amazed at the fragrance that streams through the air....when visiting the enormous fields of Blue.
Joining Good Fences today!
Shug !

My birthday bouquet had something very similar to bluebonnets in it. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has about 3 acres ...and swears they were from her property.
I love seeing the fields pop blue!
enjoy your drive to see them!
These are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about posting too early... the only thing worse, is posting and then regretting it!
ReplyDelete... I think I may have posted already, but, not sure it went...can't remember. LOL!
Anyway-- my birthday bouquet had something very closely resembling blue bonnets... ;)
Daughter swears it came from her pasture...
have fun driving the trail... to see the bluebonnets
I adore the Bluebonnets! I have seen them in friend's photos of them. Gorgeous images!
ReplyDeleteHi Shug, your Bluebonnet photos are gorgeous. I love them too and last year we were in RoundTop and they were beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe looked today for some here but they are late this year. Probably due to the harsh winter. I hope to get some pics when they bloom. Yesterday I found some to plant at the garden center and found a spot in my garden to try. Hope they take hold and bloom.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Hugs and Blessings, CM
Now that's a real treat to see beyond a fence. They are gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteOh how I love Bluebonnets. When I lived in Texas, we would drive to Brenham and Chapel Hill JUST to see the Bluebonnets... I have such good memories of seeing them... Makes me homesick for Texas!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Breathtaking! Isn't nature bloomin' marvelous? :)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't wait to open this post when I saw the title! I was just telling Double D this weekend, that although I love the azaleas and wisteria in bloom right now, I sorely miss the Texas Bluebonnets. Thank you, thank you! We did the Ennis tour one year and they were spectacular.
