What a difference a day can make. Could it be that the sun is shining?
Those are dried daffodils, from our yard....so full of color.
I have some geraniums drying now and I can only hope that they do as well as the daffodils.
Already this morning...I have heard the sweet, tweeting of many of our feathered friends.

I have just realized that I am "OCD"
Having things in order in our home is a necessity for me! Not only having things in their place, but having them neat.
I like LOVE change and I also love rearranging furniture. Do you know that just by changing out throw pillows or changing up a wall....can bring NEW life to any room?
While being kinda restricted, and not having full control, with my recovery and all.....my OCD has really been active!
Pinterest is not the place to visit my friends, when one is in such a state.
Aside from pinterest....I keep getting all these messages from "Marburger Farms"...which just so happens to be one of the BEST antique shows ever! It is happening the end of this month and I so need to be there.
Did I mention that this place is only about 200 miles away from us?
Just one day would make me SMiLe.
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!
XOXO's

I never realized that Daffodils could be dried. They are really lovely.
ReplyDeleteI KNOW you will make it there! Your little bird and nest scene is adorable!! I have to have things neat, too. I get upset when there is a mess. And my favorite thing to do other than shopping is cleaning out drawers and cabinets. I don't know how to dry flowers, maybe you will give us all a lesson sometime.
ReplyDeleteLove that turquoise, crackled glass bird! The dried daffodils are so lovely strewn about. Hope you can make it to the antique show!
ReplyDeleteI know you will make it to the antique show! Keep the Faith!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried to dry daffodils!
ReplyDeleteI still have some in the yard...but they are already fading fast. :(
I hope you continue to get well...and Marburger or Bust, for you!
the dried daffodils looks very nice, Have to try that :)
ReplyDeleteWasn't it heavenly!!! Oh, it DID help with the energy levels! Such beautiful photos, Shug! I've never been to Marburger Farms... sure looks like a fun place to go. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteHi, I know what you mean about SUNSHINE.. They can make any/all of us feel better.. We are now experiencing our third day with sunshine... Absolutely love it. It brings NEW life to me too...
ReplyDeleteWe have been busy working in the yard for the past two days. AND--we've done good cleaning up the mess from our storm... BUT--today is a run-here-and-there day.. Doctor (my knee surgeon), Grocery Store, Toyota maintenance in Knoxville, etc. etc. etc... AND--we'll end up by going to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight.. For his birthday, George gets a free appetizer!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
