House Divided.....Fences...

TEXAS.....We have some Fantastic colleges here and we have a lot of alumni that are extremely proud of their college of choice.

While driving across this big state, you will see many LONGHORN fences and gates!!

Daughter one....(Trista) chose to make TEXAS UT TYLER, her school for Higher Education. She graduated with a degree in Art and Education.

University of TEXAS at Tyler is a component institution of the the University of Texas system.   Go Patriots...
GO LONGHORNS!!!!!

Tyler....our oldest grandson....also attends
UT TYLER and is in the Nursing Program.

And then.....we also have a graduate of

TEXAS  A&M

Go AGGIES!

Our youngest daughter (Shanda) chose to be an Aggie!!  Shanda graduated from TEXAS A&M
with a degree in Education...as well.

Yes....we are a "House Divided!"

The grandchildren are split as well..
Some are Longhorns and some are Aggie fans!

Our Aggie graduate has kids that are Longhorn Fans....and our Longhorn graduate has one kid that is an Aggie fan!!  lol.

Anyways.....We have some great fences around Texas!!

  6. You have done very well with your children. You can be very proud of them regardless which school they attended. My sister was a nurse graduate from Tyler many years ago.

  11. Sure like that longhorn gate. Two granddaughters are graduates of UT Austin and one son-in-law. One daughter and son-in-law graduates of Southwest Texas. I know the name has been changed but we don't pay attention to that. lol

  14. Shug, we definitely do have some great fences around Texas...probably why Tex decided on the blog hop. My SIL is A & M grad and always has season tickets to the home games....I've not been invited to take one!
