Did someone say November....

Did someone say November?

It is here folks...and along with it came some much cooler weather!

Not much going on here today....
other than me feeling pretty yucky!

I have a good case of the big D.
Not diarrhea.....NO....I have the dreaded....

Fever, chills, and the whole nine yards!  I've had it a few days now and am currently taking the meds necessary to make this go away!

Feeling much better a matter of fact, this is the first day that I've opened my laptop...since the middle of last week.

My fever broke during the wee morning hours and I woke up with a wet hair and kicking the cover off of me.

I'm pushing the liquids and I have the BEST nurse ever!!  Sam is doing an awesome job at taking care of me....

This explains why I have not been visiting any of you...I hope to get caught up today!!  After all, I need to rest and I can do so by sitting in my chair with my laptop at hand.

Hoping you all have a wonderful Sunday.....It's a BEAUTIFUL day!

Shug ~

  1. Oh SHUG!!! I am so sorry...I have had it four times and been hospitalized three times. My mom had it once and that was all, but I have recurrent and I live my life trying to stay healthy. This is why I have lost 70 pounds (by trying, not from the illness). I go to a specialist at a big teaching hospital and I know ALL the tricks!! If you continue to have any more, please e-mail me and I will try to help. You should be on a liquid or soft diet now to lessen the strain one your colon. But I am sure you know this. So we are now even closer buddies, though I am sorry how it has happened. This is the reason. The medicine should work well! I totally empathize. Your header is just divine!! Is it nearby?

  2. Get the rest you need and I trust you will be feeling better soon.

  3. Do take care and feel better soon!

  4. I'm so sorry you have the dreaded "D" word! I have it occasionally and it's not fun.

Just found your blog and wanted to say hello to a fellow Texan! I'm in the DFW area ~ are you nearby?

  5. That is so miserable! My Dad had it a few times and he was in such pain. I hope you are feeling much better now. Just take it easy this coming week! Sweet hugs, Diane

  6. Bless your heart. So sorry to hear that you have been sick. Ginny Hartzler has the same problem I think... She's talked about it on her blog. Check with her....

I have missed you --and you missed all of my FB posts and my blog today about our freak snowstorm this weekend. VERY rare for us.

Take care of YOU. Glad you have a good caregiver!!!

  7. Shug, I'm so sorry you have been wrestling with the Big D! I haven't been online much or I would've noticed your absence. Glad you are feeling better. Lord, please continue to watch over our sweet Shug!

Thank you for Blessing me today with your comments...
