As many of you may remember... The third annual "Free Throws for Souls" took place on March 22 of this year. Our son-in-law (Tom) shot free throws for 24 straight hours. The goal was to reach $20,000. to be divided between God's Open Hands and a Missionary John Williamson. It was announced yesterday, that the goal of $20,000.00 dollars was met and it is possible that even more money will be coming in.
I just want to give Praise to the Lord for every need that was supplied in making this event a success.

I don't know what the weather is like where you all live......but it is COLD here today! Our poor plants and trees are SO confused. It was 80 at the first of the week and now, the temp is in the 40's.
Blessings to you all for a beautiful day, no matter what the temperature is!
Shug
It's cold and raining and freezing rain here brrrr!Glad your test results were good!
ReplyDeleteGood news! It's turned very chilly here with temps near freezing last night. We have had some 75 degree weather and it was nice! Now we are back to turning up the furnace again. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteGlad your results were good after your tests yesterday.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Tom for raising THAT much money for missions/ministry....
Nice here this morning --but we have some bad weather coming in this afternoon. Hope it's not severe though... Gonna get colder here too... Darn it!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
So thankful for all the people who helped make the goal of $20,000.
ReplyDeleteGlad the tests are over and the results good, now if only the weather would warm up. Chilly here too.
ReplyDeleteYES! So glad it is over and you got a good report!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad all your tests went well! It has been winter here forever, it seems like. Snow flurries and/or rain all day--actually for the last week. Take care, my friend!
ReplyDeleteTerribly cold here. I sure wish this rain would pass.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on good test results.
Glad you had good results! Our weather has been nice too, and now it is pouring down rain and cooler. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteSo relieved to hear your test results are good! Yay Shug! What an awesome thing Tom did to win that money. God is surely pleased. We got lots of horrible rain today and temps in the upper 60s, so a 20 degree difference for us. Weird weather!
