Update on Sam

8/18/25 Today has been filled with many different emotions. We had a very long visit with Sam's oncologist this morning. The great news is that according to the images, the tumor is gone!! PTL. However, the doctor made the statement " I want to be clear on this. This is the news that we have from the MRI image...It is an image report only." Meaning? That there very possibly could be some cancer cells in the liver itself. Another issue is, that there are two more spots on Sam's liver. The team suspects that they are cancer, but can not be for sure until we have the next MRI done, which is scheduled for October 27th. We are again in a waiting period. The reason another MRI is not ordered for now is because these two places are new and are not easily identified.
