Oh Shug - love the grandchildren and I loved that movie too. It was moving when Sally Field said, "I was with him when she came into the world, and I'm going to be there with her when she leaves." sandie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, beautiful family:)

Wow!!! So was this the house where the movie was filmed? I loved the movie, but cried buckets of tears. Aren't us humans funny, we can love something that makes us cry so much?
ReplyDeleteI love the movie, but their accents are all wrong. :( I think I'm the only southern woman that can't watch it because of that. They all sound like they're from Georgia! But I'm glad you had a good visit in my home state. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy you enjoyed your trip., and a bonus, seeing the home of The Steel Magnolias...love the Magnolia blossom and those gorgeous GrandLoves of yours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and smelling the Peonies...sweet of you.

I want to go there!
ReplyDeleteYour grandchildren are so sweet. Thank you so much for sharing your Louisiana trip. I love to go there.

My what lovely grandangels you have!!!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a movie I should watch again! Thanks for the idea! Love that house - but would have to have the maids that go with it.
Hi Shug!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful - I also loved that movie, I haven't thought about it for years!! I guess I will have to dig it out and watch it!
Hugs,
Barb
I loved the movie too...one of the first dates my husband took me on. He cried during it and that's when I knew I had a keeper. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet comments...it means so much that you stop by and your words always speak to my heart. xoxo
How awesome was that? To see the actual house!! Everyone loves that movie, I think.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great trip!!
