Joshua 24:15
Who doesn't love a good ol' "Beauty" peach?
To my gurls and all my guy friends.....I want you to know that
this chic has been happier than a kid in a Texas size
candy store.......
Yesterday, I found myself listening for "Pings"
Pings that were coming from the jars that held my fresh made hot sauce and squash...
I can not wait to taste this stuff!!
When Sam came home from work, he commented on how good the kitchen smelled.....He said: "Smells like a real kitchen Again"
Marsha Kay, for sharing this tasty recipe!
Yumo...Fresh cream peas!! I know these will taste so yummy with a piece of hot water cornbread....
You just can't be "FRESH" when it comes to food.
I'm sure hoping to get a lot more canned over the next few weeks....Before I have surgery on my shoulder....
That's right, I don't think I mentioned my dreaded surgery that is coming up, next month..
Seems that during the healing process of my carpal tunnel surgery {last year}, I somehow tore my rotator cuff. I am right handed, and guess what? The tear is in my right shoulder!!
The way I figure it.....If I go ahead and put up all this good food right now, Sam will have plenty of good things to cook, while my shoulder is healing!! {laugh}
Ok....I still have lots to do....Sure hope I hear those beautiful "Pings" today!!
Blessings,
shug

Hi Shug!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was in your kitchen smelling all of those wonderful smells! I would love to have your pickled squash recipe - always room for one more squash recipe!!
So sorry about your shoulder... :0( I will pray that you have a quick recovery - with little pain. Just take it easy and don't try to do too much too soon - take it from an expert!
Hugs,
Barb
Sorry to hear that you have to have surgery again. Bless your heart...
ReplyDeleteBut--you obviously will have lots of great canned foods for Sam to cook after your surgery...
Keep listening for those 'pings'...
Hugs,
Betsy
Phew what does that involve - the surgery? And I didn't know you canned - it all looked great. sandie
ReplyDeleteOoohh, I love a good peach, but can rarely find one! Even in season. :( All that fresh food is going to be wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your shoulder. My new boss is sporting a sling after having the exact same surgery. Hope and pray it all goes well. Is that going to hamper your blogging? I hope not. :(
