It was early in the morning, and I was heading to utility to grab one of Sam's new short sleeve work shirts, for him to wear that day...
I have no idea what it was that I had on my mind that morning, but as I turned around and headed towards him, I said: "Here is your shirt, DOUGHBOY." Yep, I sure did!!!!!
There was complete silence for about 10 seconds....and then I realized what I had said....
Sam was like...."What did you call me?"
I quickly came back with: "I said ...U da Boy."
Oh my....I just ran, buried my head in his chest and started giggling...I knew he had heard me right, the first time!!
Believe me....he hasn't let me live it down....
He has assured me that my time is coming.....Oh dear!
I sure do love my Doughboy!!!!!
Shug.......
Oh, boy! What a slip, that must have made you feel bad. You were saying it with love, and then realized that words can hurt.
