You can really be creative when mixing colors...and did you know that warm colors actually mix very well with cool colors?
Black, Red, yellow, white.....and I would not hesitate for one moment to throw in some colors of light turquoise....
My personal color wheel is not at all afraid to be a different....I like different things!!
Not only do I like to mix colors, but I think you can definitely define your personality when you mix designs and shapes of all kinds...
In any particular room of our home, you might find a huge mixture of florals, pok a dots, stripes, checks and numerous designs, spattered here and there...
Go ahead....don't be afraid to MIX!!
Anything goes these days....it's up to you1
Whatever it is that makes your heart sing, is exactly what you should surround yourself with....

Well, I will have to remember this as Hubby and I embark upon building a new house in a few months. As they say,"step out of the box." Love the table pictures, so pretty!
Reds, yellows, blues, greens, browns...love them all! And I do find ways to mix them together. Your sunflower plate is simply gorgeous, and paired with the brown and ivory dishes, backed by the red/gold chair is simply devine. You have very good taste. :)
You are wild!!! Wildly beautiful!!!! But I think you really have to have an instinct and talent to do this, and I have absolutely none! Your table is beautiful, every time I try it's just sad. Guess my talents are elsewhere.

Oh I love this table setting! Sunflowers are one of my favorites! And of course you must throw in a splash of red!

I love sunflowers! I bought a little soap dispenser for the kitchen recently that has sunflowers painted on it. I agree, we all should decorate to suit our tastes and style, not what "they" tell us is the "in" thing to do!
