Because she is a woman who fears the Lord
and respects His commands, the Proverbs 31 woman
conducts herself in a fashion that is above reproach.
Not because of man, but because she walks in
submission to a Power greater than herself.
She respects the handiwork of God by treating
the people He created with respect and honesty.
From her servants to the merchants she trades
with, to her own children and husband, each are treated
with kindness, humility, and grace.
Every person she interacts with on a daily basis is
liberated to feel as if they are important to her no matter
how great or small their contributions.......

Shug.......
Hi Shug, Love those words on that poster. As women, most of us would do so much for others... BUT--each of us is different... We need to understand and respect others since not everyone does as much for others as we might.. Let's not judge....

Sometimes we expect others to do as much as we do - that's not much of a gift is it?

A good meditation. I, for one, stopped long ago expecting anything from anyone. Then it is always a wonderful surprise when I get offers of help.
ReplyDeleteHi Shug!
ReplyDeleteI love Proverbs 31! I think it's so important to magnify our calling as a woman - not only at home, but wherever we go, and with everyone we meet!
What a thought provoking quote this morning!

Oh, the Proverbs 31 woman, whom I fall so far short of emulating. *sigh* This is a great synopsis of her. I will keep trying!!! Blessings to you.
