Be Careful Litte Mouth What You Say...
Did you know that what a person says, speaks volumes about
the character of that person?
Character......traits that mark a person
We should all have that desire to be a winner in life and having a Positive Character and being a winner go hand in hand.
Great positive traits would be those of honesty, having integrity, being loyal, showing enthusiasm, and being free of criticism.
On the other hand, if we are not careful, we will allow the character traits of Jealousy, Envy, Resentment, and Covetousness to sneak upon us. These traits have a way of controlling us and they bring us down.....
Those who slander and speak with jealous tongues are mentioned to be amongst those that hate God and those that invent ways of doing evil things...(Romans 1:30)
Words hurt badly and when they are spoken by our so called friends, they can hurt even worse. We all need to guard our hearts in order that we may guard our mouths.....or is it the other way around....Guard our mouths in order to guard our hearts?
TROUBLEMAKER = one who gossips or criticizes others!
** Oh Be Careful little mouth what you say **
It is most important that we measure the words that we speak.....
Matthew 12:37 reads....
For by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned
Strife, Jealousy, Anger, Slander, and Gossip....
There is NO PLACE for these words in the life of a Christian....
We must be on guard....We must be careful of what we speak....Other's are listening and it can define our CHARACTER!
Sweet Blessings and Hugs...

Black Friday Shopping.
Okay....lets talk some Black Friday Shopping. Who will and who won't? I have learned that Black Friday shopping isn't just shopping....
The tongue is sharper than a two edged sword, really...did I tell you how much I love your new header?
ReplyDeleteI try to tell that to my little grandson - so true.
ReplyDeleteMy dad used to say that talking about others was like releasing feathers from a pillow into the wind. No matter how you try, you will NEVER be able to retrieve all of those feathers.
ReplyDeleteExcellent reminder! Although I have gotten much better about not gossiping I sometimes find myself doing it. Every day I need to ask for God's grace. I need a LOT!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's teacher, last year, had the class squeeze out a travel tube of toothpaste onto a paper plate. Then they had to try and put the toothpaste back in the tube with a toothpick. The lesson was that it was comparable to saying mean words about others. You can't put them back no matter how hard you try.
