My July calendar is already busy and I have several more things that I could add, but I am sure going to be pushing myself to get it all done......
Here are just a few of the things that I need to complete this summer....
What ya think.....do I have time?????
1. Get into shape.....OK, I'm working on this one, but I still have a long way to go....
2. Change out our home office.....
3. Clean and Organize the garage......add some extra shelfs.....Nope, not done yet! Hopefully I can talk Sam into taking care of this one....
4. Organize my Holiday decorations.....I really need to get this done and I promised myself last Fall
that I would do it this summer! Yikes....bad promise!
5. Organize all of my pictures.....I have a HUGE box of pictures that I need to put in albums.
6. Make all of my birthday cards for this next year.... I do not want to buy them....I think they are more personal when I make them myself.....
7. I wanted to have a day outing with my girlfriends....Lunch, shopping, maybe a pedicure and manicure.......(Think I will move this one to the top of my list)
More than anything, I want to be PRODUCTIVE with all my
"Busy-Ness"
What Does Your Calendar Look Like???
Have a Happy Day.....
Shug ~
well my calendar is empty except a teeth cleaning,, I don't set to many golas these days,, I fly by the seat of my pants.I had a head injury 10 years ago that robbed me of half my sight, my memories and balance,, struggling to recover from all of this I develped a coaping process that was live for the moment and this is what I do now.I know we should have goals and maybe I do but nothing concrete, I think your list is wonderful and very do able,,good for you,,
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid to write down all the things I need to do! LOL! I'm pulling for you to meet all your goals, Shug! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteNot as busy asa yours! teehee
ReplyDeleteYou CAN do it.
In the years that I worked fulltime, was a single parent and worked a million hours a week it seemed ---I worked totally with weekly lists. I made them practical and do-able. When I could mark off that list each week, I felt wonderful --like I had accomplished something.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to have other 'goals' --like losing weight.. They are things I worked on gradually but didn't put on a list. If I did have it on my list--it was short-term (like a pound a week or so)--so that I could achieve it.
Your list is HUGE. You may have good intentions and you may accomplish some of it. IF it were me, I'd choose what is really important --and prioritize some of these with attainable goals and objectives. You will feel so much better if you complete one or two of those and do them well. Just my humble opinion.
Thank God I don't have to be THAT busy anymore... ha
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh my gosh...you look way more organized already than I am... but if you really feel like you must do this...I'll be excited to see how it turns out!!! smile...

My calendar is a mess! I never have time for anything. We babysit, are helping take care of my friend who is having chemo, we are deacons, Phil works part time and teaches tennis and chess. We are rarely even both home together in the evening. Your goals sound like some of mine! I need to have everything organized to feel good, and so I can find things, but there is getting to be more and more mess!!
ReplyDeleteCalm but gathering speed. School will be here before I know it. We start way too early if you ask me but they don't. :)

My calendar says two more weeks until school starts. That means I go to school next week to get my classroom in order. Summer is over for me :(
ReplyDeleteO, Shug...whew...I am tired, just reading all you have to do. I have a lot to do, too.
ReplyDeleteCompletely redo a bedroom, from ceiling to floor. It has been so hot, even with air conditioners on, that I have moved that project to late fall.
Our yard and flowers and shrubs are almost dead from lack of rain so....no yard work. I need to organize my DECORATOR CLOSET but, again, too hot.
SOOO, I am going to lunch with girlfriends next week...thrifting and MAYBE a pedicure and a glass of wine. :)))
hugs, bj
Great post! Love the photos! I'm following.
