All In A Week!

Hello Ya'll!  I am back and I have missed visiting with all of you this past week.     I am so thankful for every single prayer that you prayed on my behalf.  It is so wonderful to know that I have Christians friends that care about me.   Thank you, thank you, thank you.  You have warmed my heart!

When I woke up from the surgery, my first thought was "Geez, I don't remember signing up to become a boxer."  Seriously, both hands were wrapped and I couldn't even move my fingers.  But...I am doing much better and I am very thankful to get this all behind me.

Say...I understand that my sweetheart has really been entertaining everyone this week.  I worked very hard the month of January to make sure I had enough post to cover the days that I would be down, and all he had to do was click "Publish Post."  He clicked "Publish Post" alright, but seems he had some things to say himself!

Can I just tell you that Sam has been a huge Blessing to me.  He has treated me like a queen and waited on me night and day.  We may have some differences when it comes to the cleaning department, but he has done a great job!  Love you Sweetie!

We finally have snow!  I know that there are so many of you who have had more than your share of the beautiful white fluffy stuff, but in East Texas we get excited when we see the slightest snow flake falling from the sky.  And when we do get an accumulation of any kind, we go nuts!  Give us a couple inches of snow, and everything shuts down.  Not sure if it's because we don't know how to get around in the stuff or if it's because everyone wants to go out and play.

This is what we call a winter storm!

More pictures on the winter storm will come tomorrow.  There are some you have to see.  You won't believe your eyes!

Hoping your weekend will be full of JOY!

  3. Hi Shug, Thanks for coming to my blog. I am enjoying yours... Your hubby did a great job 'subbing' for you during and after your surgery. Tell him to start his own blog. My hubby blogs and we BOTH love it...

Glad you got a little snow in East Texas. I have two sons (south of Houston) who got nothing but ICE. Not good!!!! They (and their families) were disappointed.

I lived in Texas for 12 yrs. neat Clear Lake (NASA area).

Come back to my blog anytime. I am going to email you about Carpal Tunnel. I am having some symptoms.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  4. I'm sure you were doubting why you ever had the surgery done earlier in the week, but aren't you glad now it is all behind you and the best is yet to come. Hopefully all your pain will be gone and you will be able to use your hands in anyway you want. Probably still don't need to be lifting heavy pots & pans for a while....eating out should get you through at least one more week!! Sam really was a hoot though.

So glad, too, that the worst is over...
I have to go to the dentist soon and I would just as soon have someone peel all my skin off. I am dreading it like the plague.....wish I had IT behind me. :(((
