Wonder and Joy

Today is beautiful in such a way that it inspires my heart with Wonder and Joy!

Welcome to our home this morning....I love being able to sit here and enjoy a nice warm cup of coffee...There is not one single thing that is demanding my time this morning. Sam, Trista and shanda left early this morning for their usual "Daughters and Dad" shopping adventure.

It's just me with some alone time and I can simply enjoy the morning and enjoy listening to the beautiful sounds of Christmas all around me.

I have had several request for my "Sausage Ball" recipe, so here it is......

3 cups of Bisquick
1 pound of sausage (uncooked)
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1 small jar of cheese whiz

Mix all ingredients together and roll into small balls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes....Enjoy!

Here is another great recipe that your guest will enjoy during the Holiday season.

Poppy Seed Loaf:

3 cups flour
1  1/2 tsp. salt
1  1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1  1/2 cup milk
1  1/8 cup cooking oil
2  1/4 cups sugar
1  1/2 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1  1/2 tsp. vanilla
1  1/2 tsp. almond flav.
1  1/2 tsp. butter flav.

Mix all ingredients one to two minutes with electric mixer.  Pour into 2 large or 4 small lightly greased loaf pans.  Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean...Top will crack..

Glaze:

1/4  cup Orange juice
3/4  cup white powered sugar
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Let bread cool about 5 minutes...Pour glaze over warm bread.....

I sure enjoyed reading all of your post last night.  I was busy most of the day, but when I did sit down last evening, I grabbed my computer...
