Love...Happiness....and Peace of Mind...

I am happy to share them with you today.....

Parade's.....Who does not love a parade?

Poppee received the Honor at this year's parade to be the Co-Grand Marshall.  He is a Charter Member of the Lion's Club.  His membership began in 1960.  Nina was ask to ride with him in this beautiful red convertible.

Happy smiles on children's faces.  Little bags in their hands to gather every piece of candy that was being thrown.  Sounds of music in the streets and horns from the fire trucks making loud noises.  Children holding their hands over their ears as the big red Fire Engines passed by.  

A beautiful Homecoming Queen (Kadie my niece) and her escort (which just so happens to be my dad) along with the captains of the football team were all waving at everyone in the crowd.  Following behind them were dancers, tumblers and even a pink convertible Cadillac that came passing by.  For a moment there, I felt like I was right in the middle of the filming of "Grease"

Old people, young people and even toddler's all had their eyes fixed on each participant as the parade travelled through the streets.  There were sounds of laughter everywhere and joy in people's hearts.....

A simple way of life......
