Dancing to be Healthy

Sam and I are getting in SHAPE....  We have now started .....are you ready for this?.....
Dance Classes!  Oh yes, you read me right...and it is so much fun...

This is an excellent way to get in shape and it has many positive health benefits.  By keeping up the endurance, It allows me to feel my heart rate as it elevates, and this is something I haven't felt in a long time.  This is just exactly what we need.  Besides that, it helps to reduce stress and it increases our mental exercise by making us recall the steps.  

I believe it is great for any one's self esteem.  I feel that it helps me to improve harmony in my own mind and gives me a sense of well being.  One good thing about it, is that we are no longer sitting around on the couch feeling bored.  It is a great way to build self-confidence.

As a member of the Assemblies of God Church, I had to ask myself the question as to whether or not this was right.  I have thought about this a lot and I really feel that there is nothing wrong with people getting together and having fellowship with one another.  We should want to have good, clean, fun while improving our health.  It really does not matter if it is dancing, bowling, playing horseshoes, or enjoying the outdoors with good friends, as long as you know the priorities in your life. 

God is the priority in our lives and in our home, so I do feel comfortable exercising by the way of taking dance classes.   It really is so much fun, and I really think we are getting the hang of it.  Our class is an hour long class and the other night we could not believe how fast the hour passed.   I have never exercised an hour before without feeling like I was being tortured.   

I certainly do not think that we are old, but getting a wee bit older has been a lot of fun so far.  When we get really good, I will try to add a video for you all to see just how good our steps are.  

I think it's time for me and Sam to practice, so.....   La Te Da  for now!

Sunday morning News!! Sam and I both have the crud!  Chest congestion, headache, stuffed up noses and sleepless nights.   Hopefully this is ...
