Friday "This and That"

Friday post....I am running behind today.

This is a "This and That" kind of Friday, beginning with this ↓↓↓↓↓↓

My perfect DREAM kitchen!
I would stay in this kitchen all day long.  Love the table too!!

Our view last evening as we drove down another country road.

This beauty is in our daughter's yard...
It was transplanted here from Sam's grandmother's yard.

Knock out Roses!!  These are blooming everywhere in our area....Even in my yard!

The Japanese Maple in Trista's (daughter) yard.

At our local arboretum.

We are expected to have a gorgeous weekend...
Sam and I visited a couple of the garden centers yesterday, and I MAY have made a few flower purchases.  I plan on working in the yard this weekend...

Happy Friday Friends.

                        Great Big Hugs..

                            Shug...😎

  1. Ooooh! I love that kitchen too!
Your flowers and trees are looking gorgeous. We have a Japanese maple, but not leaves on it yet this year.
    I'm already crazy! :)

  2. That's a lovely kitchen, but I would never put a nice rug under a kitchen table. Too many messes :-)

  4. You don't have to train me to be your friend - I am already crazy myself.

  6. Oh that kitchen is awesome. I would love something like that. I think that one is probably bigger than my kitchen, dining room and living room all put together.

  7. We don't do that much cooking anymore, but I'd be turning over a new leaf for that kitchen! Do you happen to follow Sean Dietrich (aka, Sean of the South)? He and his wife purchased an old/historic home in Birmingham and have a big farm table like that.

Color me wanting a ticket aboard the crazy train!

  8. I like the style of that kitchen...however it looks like lots of walking around...the work triangle should be efficient...sink-stove-fridge. I dislike the huge windows...my daughter has those once upon a time and they were the pits to clean.

  13. It's so nice when we see horses on our drives in the country. And those deer, what a sight! That kitchen is very charming, but too big for me. Love those windows looking out. And those knock out roses are lovely as ever. The arboretum looks very peaceful. I could sit there for a while just thinking, reflecting, praying. "This and That" posts are actually my favorite, Shug. Yours was wonderful. It shows a little of the happenings around you. You already have nice Texas Spring weather.

  14. I like that kitchen as well - beautiful. Those roses are gorgeous! 🌹Isn’t this season, lovely? It’s just before the stifling heat hits and all the flowers are blooming. Trees have in their spring green attire - as if all of creation is getting ready to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.
    Have a wonderful weekend!
