What the Ice Storm Brought me...

Well, well....along with the ice storm came a bad cold for me.  Lots of sneezing and coughing and runny eyes.  Can I please just go to my bed and tuck myself under the covers?  I have a heated mattress cover and it is definitely calling me.

I am taking Air-borne and plenty of vitamin C.  Thanks to Josh, one of our friends, he went to the store and got me some Night-time NyQuil.  He has a big jeep and was able to make it down to the Grocery store.  Thanks big time to Josh!!

I'm so praying that Trista and Sam do not catch this.

How I currently feel...except, my nose is running like a dripping faucet..I feel like I need to put a bandaid on each nostril.

It has truly been a blessing having Trista here to help run the household.  She has made sure that Sam is drinking all of the liquids he needs to be drinking.  She has been waiting on me....making sure I have the meds I need and making sure that I am getting plenty of fluids in my system.  Such a huge help.

Sure hoping to feel better tomorrow.

Winter is still here...Ice is still here.

See y'all tomorrow.

Shug.

  1. Oh I'm so sorry you're sick with those nasty colds. They can sure level us - and yes, it's good your daughter is there to lend a hand in getting you better and helping with Sam.God bless her for that! I hope Sam and Trista doesn't get this as well. Stay rested, drive plenty of fluids and snuggle up.

  8. Poor Honey! Sending get well chicken soup thoughts and lots of love. We just got back from visiting our Annie in FL and it was so hard to come back to these frigid temps. Ugh! But grateful we got some warmth for a bit. Feel better dear Shug. xoxo
